Similarities between BAT and Hive

I have been using Brave browser and Hive for close to 2 years now and it was only recently that I realized that they are very similar.

Most of us already know all we need to know about Hive, if not we wouldn't be using it right now so let's go straight to where the confusion maybe.

BAT

BAT stands for Basic Attention Token. they give incentives for paying attention to their browser or post related to BAT (for example on Twitter).

The browser sends ads to everyone, ads related to crypto for example stuff like exchanges that want to advertise. Your pay depends on the number of Ads you receive. You also need to turn off your Auto Tipping that is if you don't want all your rewards to go to sites you visit.

How I see it

Brave and Hive are both incentivized browsing and the tokens they share out are like shares in their company and can be traded.

While in Brave Browser the money is passive and usually less than what you earn on Hive, Hive requires your attention and active participation.

But in BAT you could earn by active participation too. All you need to do is post regularly about them. I saw a video on YouTube of a guy who receives big tips for posting about BAT. In his wallet, he has hundreds of dollars from posting about BAT. I don't think it's just random people tipping him I think he gets some big tips from BAT the company.

I've earned close to $50 from Brave Ads alone and I bought a phone with it. It is one of the best passive earners I know in the crypto space.

Hope you learned something new through this post?

Here is my BEP BAT wallet address for tips if you wish to.
