Our LABFUND is still going strong and we have a lot of great ideas brewing for the upcoming phase of the project. If you want to catch up, this is a quick moving project:

See our initial launch here 22 days ago. We had a math update 19 days ago. And We just Sold Out 15 days ago. 12 days ago we did a 0.28 HIVE per LABFUND 'rebate'. And 2 days ago we dropped 2 ARMERO tokens to each 1 LABFUND being held.

TL:DR 0.1 HIVE per LABFUND drop coming on Wednesday, get your LABFUND off the market before then.

Continuing the drive to be the fastest Hive-Engine token to ROI, LABFUND will indeed be paying out another dividend, 0.1 swap.hive per token on wednesday - bringing the total accounted payback for each LABFUND token, original sold for 1 HIVE a piece, to 0.78 (in just the first month!) I think this can be called a success!

And this will end the first phase of our LABFUND project. I am working on our roadmap from here, and I have a few great ideas and some questionable ones as well, and I can't wait to continue to build with all of you - but here is where we come to an important fork in the road:

Some users want quick flip returns and some want income (divs)

I am getting feedback in two different camps, and I think both are understandable.

We did something really exciting getting the @superlab set up, we jumped on an opportunity and sucked up all the alpha, and in doing so together I think we all have created one of the most profitable dCity based start ups, indeed one of the greatest hive-engine projects in the (history of the universe) - well anyway I think we are a pretty cool project.

To have such large dividends come back so fast and have the token still retain value backed by the tokens and NFTs in the wallet, it can be really tempting to take profits. And this is completely appropriate - in fact it presents us with an opportunity that the market can help solve! There is so much profit here, enough profit for everyone to be happy.

Just the dCity NFTs alone are currently valued around 18,000 HIVE - based on the income they can bring in over time.

So theoretically the token is worth 1.8 HIVE and we can napkin estimate its going to be paying around 50% apr per year on that value, or 0.9 HIVE per year per token in estimated cashflow. It could actually pay much more than that (or less), all will depend on the average War Tax levels over that period. This is assuming a medium level of War Tax over the period, which I think is likely to be the average over the year ipso facto, that's just how averages work.

The token will continue to incur currency risk to the SIM:HIVE ratio. There is some upside potential to this trade as well, but it must be mentioned here. Because of the early profits we achieved, both in the form of the rebate and the ARMERO token cash out, some early investors in the LABFUND project are interested in locking in HIVE profits, and this forms a perfect opportunity to let new investors into phase 2.

Phase 2 - Transition

This will transition the project into a long-term management position, one in which we will keep up the buy wall, we will keep doing experiments, we will continue to earn SIM and ARMERO tokens, and we will continue to look to pay dividends to our holders, while honestly estimating our own evaluation along the way.

I have a couple of neat ideas for this transition, but for now the important part is that we have until Wednesday to let the market decide if they want to own more or less LABFUND before the airdrop. 0.1 HIVE per LABFUND will take place on Wednesday and if your tokens are on the market they will not get it. You have all been warned!

@treasure.hoard, the largest single investor, is willing to part with some of its share in @superlab LABFUND tokens to lock in profits. Go ahead and use the market, fill in the gaps if you like, make a bid, place an ask - USE THE MARKET, after all that is what it is there for - a second layer on which we all play this game. And the most fun part is that this particular game we are all making money and just deciding how to distribute the profits over time between ourselves.

Obviously its thanks to @gerber who set this all up, I just did the math. The Sick Citizen is the meta game right now, and with high taxes it really can affect the leaderboard. Let's take a look at the current income ranking leaderboard:

In moments of extreme tax, its all about the rebates. Sick citizens (and to a lesser extent Nature Zones, Temple Ruins, Young Citizens and Students) tax rebates continue to grow and be the meta throughout the dCity Universe.

When the taxes ticked over today and Income Tax hit another notch higher, we went over the top and we can see here on the list of income rankers, just who is staying abreast of the meta game and who isn't. Looks like @d-pend needs to dedicate some afternoon to doing experiments on all the citizens on @sketching 😜

With these changing conditions - and yes they must change! - we can really feel like we are playing, and understand the need to build our city to adapt to changing circumstances. I think we are heading in the right direction, a slight bit of austerity at the end of my first term hopefully will be counteracting the pretty extremely low taxes at the end of my predecessors reign just 15 days ago.

How are you all feeling out there after one wonderful term of my presidency?

I'll see you all with the final numbers after the snapshot... looks like it will be two more weeks of Eco, but its not set in stone yet - every SIM counts, cast your votes!
