At what time did I go into athletics that I should be included in the list of those Nigerians making their country proud at the Common wealth games 2022 in Birmingham?😒

It first began with Tobi Amusan seizing the 🥇gold medal and breaking the female 100m hurdles world record by running a stunning 12.12 seconds, that the commentators kept yelling in disbelief.😁😁

A couple of Nigerians participating in the same tournament have gone ahead to also add to these achievements, like;

  • Chioma Onyekwere; 🥇gold medalist in Discus Throw.

  • Rafiatu Lawal; 🥇gold medalist in weightlifting.

  • Islamiyat Yusuf; 🥉bronze medal in the women's 64kg weightlifting.

  • Folashade Lawal; 🥇gold medalist in the women's 59kg weightlifting.

  • Taiwan Laidi; 🥈silver medal in the women's 76kg weightlifting.

So where do I come in then?😊😊

The achievements of these athletes are being celebrated because they all put in alot of work into their craft, that's where I come in respectively.🤗
