Hoy quiero hablarles lo que pienso que podría llevar Hive al siguiente nivel. Estamos viviendo momento un tanto complicado. A comparación del año pasado, a HIVE (la moneda) no le está yendo tan bien. Ha perdido mucho valor con el paso de los meses y esto se debe a varios factores. La mayoría ajenos a Hive y propios del ecosistema cripto. Sobre todo por lo que ha pasado con LUNA y FTX.
Hay cosas que no podemos controlar, y eso está bien. Sin embargo, hay otras cosas que sí podemos hacer y que están, hasta cierto punto, en nuestras manos. Vale la pena decir que aunque estén en nuestras manos, algunas de estas cosas no las podemos hacer solos. Esto es algo que puede llegar a ser un poco frustrante, pero no queda de otra que trabajar en equipo y saber cuáles son nuestros roles, nuestras fortalezas y debilidades.

It has lost a lot of value over the months, and this is due to several factors. Most of them are not related to Hive but to the crypto ecosystem itself. There are things we can't control, and that's fine. However, there are other things we can do, and they are, to some extent, in our hands. It is worth saying that even if they are in our hands, some of these things we cannot do alone. This can be a bit frustrating, but there is no choice but to work as a team and know our roles, strengths, and weaknesses.
There are many things that Hive needs to get to the next level. I think these are some of them, in no specific order.

Hive necesita una mejor manera de crear cuentas. Eceny y HiveOnboard no siempre funcionan, por una u otra razón. Sabemos que las cuentas den Hive no son gratis, cuestan 3 HIVE o cuestan RC. El reto es crear un sitio web donde se puedan crear de manera accesible. Dar la opción de crearlas gratis, pero sería con una verificación para evitar abusos. Hive needs a better way to create accounts. Eceny and HiveOnboard don't always work for one reason or another. We know that Hive accounts are not free; they cost 3 HIVE or RC. The challenge is to create a website where they can be created in an accessible way. Give the option to create them for free, but it would be with verification to avoid abuses. Another option would be that users could pay with fiat or some other crypto, for example, with Satoshis using BTC's Lightning network.

This is something that just occurred to me. Imagine if there was a website where new users could request personalized advice. Experienced Hive users would have the opportunity to support these users one-on-one and walk them through their journey. Sure, this can already be done in Telegram groups and on the various Discord servers, but I think such a site could help people overcome that fear of interacting and asking for help. Some users can get self-conscious and don't want to sound like newbies in a group where they don't know anyone.

Hive Discovery Academy
This would be a great thing. Imagine having a series of simple videos that are two to five minutes long and explain the entire Hive ecosystem step by step and a learning path specific to each new user's interests. I mention this because not everyone is looking to create content on Hive. In conjunction with personalized mentoring or support groups, a website like this would help new users a lot.

Esto es algo que Hive necesita desde hace mucho. Entrar a Hive como un usuario que no tiene mucha experiencia puede ser todo un reto. Se crea la cuenta y nos dan un bonche de llaves que no sabemos para qué sirven. Una cuenta ligera sería una cuenta que no está enlazada como tal a la blockchain y que no tiene llaves privadas como tal.
Hay dos opciones para hacer esto. Una sería usando la Ceramiz Network, con esto podríamos iniciar sesión usando Metamask. La otra opción es utilizar una cuenta proxy. Esta opción creo que me gusta un poco más. Por medio de un sitio web o interfaz, los usuarios accederían a una cuenta de Hive existente que comentaría por ellos y que les ayudaría a entender poco a poco como funciona Hive sin riesgos a perder sus cuentas por extraviar las llaves.
Por otro lado, estas cuentas proxy podrían acumular recompensas por medio de votos o propinas y estas recompensas podrían ser empleadas para pagar por la creación de la cuenta e incluso un poco de Hive Power para tener RC.
Lite Accounts
This is something that Hive is long overdue. Logging into Hive as an inexperienced user can be a challenge. The account is created, and we are given a bunch of keys that we don't know what they are for. A lightweight account would be an account that is not linked to the blockchain and has no private keys.
There are two options for doing this. One would be using the Ceramic Network. With this, we could log in using Metamask. The other option is to use a proxy account. This option I think I like this a little better. Through a website or interface, users would access an existing Hive account that would comment for them and help them slowly understand how Hive works without the risk of losing their accounts by misplacing the keys.
On the other hand, these proxy accounts could accumulate rewards through votes or tips, which could be used to pay for account creation and even some Hive Power to have RC.

Rewarding content consumers.
This has been swirling around in my head for a while now. In traditional social networks, many users are just consumers of content. That is, they just read, react and share. An effective way to reward those who just read content would be great. Podría haber un sitio web o interfaz que pueda conectar a inversionistas con miembros de la comunidad que tienen una buena trayectoria y que se comprometerían a usar ese voto de la mejor manera. Sería un buen reto, yo se dé primera mano lo complicado y la responsabilidad que es tener que repartir un voto grande de la mejor manera. Es complicado, pero no imposible.
More investors, more whales
Currently, Hive has an imbalance, in my opinion. There are a lot of content creators, but there are few accounts that value content. I mean accounts that have a lot of Hive Power. There are a lot of curation projects, but honestly, not all have enough power to give meaningful votes. There are very good curators on Hive, I know several, and it's a bit frustrating because it's a time-consuming job, and they are not always well rewarded.
We should have more incentives for people to invest in Hive. This would require teamwork. A new investor will not vote for content by himself for different reasons. As I mentioned, you need to invest time, and in Hive, you can't vote for anything lightly. With great power comes great responsibility; of course, that responsibility can be delegated, which is why I talk about teamwork. The big investors could give the job of voting to the experienced users in the community and see how best to make it a win-win.
There could be a website or interface that could connect investors with community members with a good track record and who would commit to using that vote in the best way. It would be a good challenge. I know firsthand how complicated and responsible it is to distribute a large vote the best way. It's complicated but not impossible.

Honestamente, Hive no puede vivir solamente de la creación de contenido. El valor de HIVE podría aumentar mucho, habría más transacciones en la cadena y de esa forma podríamos competir con otras blockkchains como WAX. También eso podría provocar que al crearse más cuentas en Hive la inflación nuevamente sea negativa, como pasó el año pasado. Esto me lleva el siguiente punto.
More applications, more successful games
Honestly, Hive can't live on content creation alone. From what I mentioned above, this is already a bit saturated, and these five years, I've realized that content creation is not for everyone. It's relatively easy to burn your account on Hive, whether out of ignorance, wanting to go overboard, or some other reason. Everything is on the blockchain, and any abuse is paid dearly in Hive, which results in low user retention. That's why we need another type of user on Hive who uses the applications and games that the ecosystem has.
I think the full potential that Hive has is yet to be explored. We haven't even reached 5% of what can be achieved here. The challenge will be to give real utility to these applications. To achieve that, anyone can use them easily, and we must solve the account creation and learning curve.
Having three or more games with the impact that Splinterlands has had could easily lead Hive to be very successful. The value of HIVE could increase a lot. There would be more transactions on the chain. And that way, we could compete with other blockchains like WAX. Also, that could cause, as more accounts are created on Hive, the inflation again to be negative, as happened last year. This brings me to the next point.

One of the most disappointing things to those just getting to know Hive is that it does not have a finite supply. Many in the crypto world are concerned about this. Hive has set inflation that goes down every year, but there are ways that inflation can be reduced. One is creating many accounts since it burns 3 HIVE per account. Another would be to send more coins to the DAO, thus taking them out of circulation. This is something the HBD Stabilizer project does all the time.
