Hello everyone, I’m here to give you a little update on my DeFi journey on the BSC.

First off, let’s be clear, while new farms attract you with high APRs, there is no telling the price of their native token down the road. Even though the fees have been lowered considerably compared to Etherium, I’m afraid that it is still a whale game unless you can sell for higher than you bought during price discovery which has nothing to do with APRs. I have to say that these whales are dishonest to the point of self-sabotage, something important to keep in mind.

This is my big demystification of DeFi, the fact that there is no sure fire way to profit and we’ve been spoiled with Cub Finance for even getting a sense that we were investing with a group of diamond paws and that recovery to 4 USD is absolutely legendary for a smaller project. You may feel that Cub is underperforming and you would be absolutely wrong because volatility is the price of liquidity. Ups and downs? A sign of market velocity!

LeoFi dropped a hint about a Rune pairing on Twitter and now I don’t know if this is more exciting than the bridge or no. They are also keeping Goose under the microscope, where it belongs, as far as the future of layered farming is concerned for Cub. Small bits of info for us, hundreds of hours of logistics for them. Have fun team!

Wen project blank? Take a chill pill already, Cub was an incredible event that should satisfy us for at least another month.

In the video, I go back on my top 6 BSC farms to see if I was right.

6 Alpaca: Trading sideways, still cute

5 Goose: Doing better for some reason. It’s quite curious that they forged onto the layered farming without addressing the obvious flaws. The only reason I see is that they are gathering precious data.

4 Monster Slayer: Since making the video I found out that there is an obvious rug pull here which stings because I had an average size stake exposed. Strangely it was the one I was the closest to free ridding. It can be good to be in a suspicious project where the returns can exit from there to your favourite project, for liquidity pairs etc. The collector in me gets overly attached to project I deem worthy!

CZ Don’t let them get away with this, all eyes are on you! Don’t make crime easy for them to pull off.

3 Bunny: Now that’s what slaying actually looks like! Slay the day away!

2 Swamp: Washington DC prepare! There is a new Swamp in town and its governance is decentralized.

1 Cub: Trading sideways at the moment, it’s wait and see. The TVL is absolutely impressive.

I also experiment with the small ones. Mozart had a rug pull from one member so the honest members of the team are victims just like the investors. Muscle Finance is a shit show but there may be hope for it yet as it is slowly climbing the Dapp Radar chart. People need some place to gamble I guess. There Muscle VIP token could be the second wind they need to stay on that treadmill. For some reason I’m really invested here, even though they should have burned more tokens. I am at the edge of my seat. Tree Finance is cooling down, let’s please back our claims and fill our twitter feed with how the trees are planted and where because planting trees can do more harm than good if they are just going up in smoke. Ramen Swap is an interesting one to watch, will it leverage its seniority and find a use case to add value to BSC? Blizzard Finance could eventually end up giving Goose a run for their money.

That's it for today. We definately live during interesting times. Play safe, stay safe and as always, do your own diligence. Ciao.
