The idea that you can do anything you want on the blockchain is an interesting one. We have already witnessed the speed at which digital money is gaining grounds, and we do not need to be told, that more is to be expected.

We have seen that crypto has been able to take as many forms as possible. We can use it as a means of transaction, it's comes in the form of assets, and that of a commodity.

Blockchain has made it possible for tokenization processes to carry weight, and value is offered based on the market determination.

The information stored in the blockchain and the fact that it is secured, connected, fast, and easy to use, and implement puts Cryptocurrency in the right positioning.

Soon, a lot of people will come to terms with the wide range of benefits that blockchain offers, and they will become accustomed to it's used-value.

Not only, will they breathe in a sigh of relief over having one chain that helps them run a useful transaction with the speed of light, but, they will be pleased with the fact that they can do more than just buying and selling crypto coins.

Today, @taskmaster4450 had explained in his post, Vitalik Describes Hive, how Hive is already setting the pace for the kind of future that Vitalik wants for Ethereum.

HIVE, the pacesetter

I love this part the most because I know how addicted I was to Facebook because of its network effect, and the tons of things I could do with it.

Blockchains, at their core, are just databases. Few care how data is structured or even what is done with it. Instead, they simply want to use the application that interests them. If they have online friends they interact with, that is what they seek.

I could talk to my friends about anything in split seconds, I could gain attention through my posts and comments. Mr. Mark even included features that allow users who can't afford to run paid ads to use the Facebook marketplace for free.

Yes, Defi is important, but being able to move further from just being Defi, by having lots of used cases will be a plus to the already popular ethereum.

The truth is, over here (hive), we have already started this future, by the way, we have lots of communities built to accommodate people from all spheres and occupations of life.

Hive provides lots of incentives to investors, and content creators, and we can attest to the fact that the developers are doing an amazing job creating DApps that help faster transactions, swaps, and lots of other advanced wallet capabilities.

This means, what Vitalik is proposing is already on HIVE. We already have in place features that solve real-life problems, and @taskmaster4450 had said, this will stimulus organic growth because these features appeal to users

However, Defi should be able to have login systems that separate blockchain from centralized companies like Facebook and Google. And as he had rightly discussed, it will be a sad influence on us, if we are still governed by those companies who can choose to de-platform users, thereby, logging them out of their various accounts.

Of course, my addiction to Facebook had slowly withered, because today, I can no longer sell in its marketplace, because of reasons I have no idea what it means.

There are days and weeks, that my friends and I are locked out of our accounts as a result of a comment we made, or a link we shared.

I can still remember how unhappy I was the weeks I couldn't dare log out of my account because I couldn't remember my password. I had to hold onto my Facebook lite, and the only device, I was logged in, with the utmost care, because if I mistakenly logged out, that was the end.

I had built my Facebook account to a point that I had loyal followers and friends, waking up every day and remembering that I was on the verge of losing it wasn't a happy experience.

This is where platforms like HIVE come to the rescue, and I am happy, I found HIVE.
