Thanks to God for the successful lunching of the Nigeria’s central bank digital currency (CBDC), that we now know and call eNaira.
The eNAIRA was
We are glad that our country has successfully developed and owned a digital currency which is said to be the second largest behind the china’s digital yuan, according to the president this is to digitalize payment and as well increase the financial inclusions of the most populated nation of Africa.

Already we have seen the projections of Mr. President on the economic growth and the increase GDP to about $29 billion in the span of ten years. We got from the press that the eNaira lunching will be a major step forward in the current evolution of money, and we have been promised that the eNaira will off cause be like the physical Naira and that it will be accessible to all.

This currency as we are being told to be a pegged to fiat currency and is backed by a country’s monetary reserves with the aim of government to put together the momentum that has been building around digital assets, especially like the popularity of other crypto like bitcoin which was ban in Nigeria few months ago.

I as well as other Nigerians, am thinking that this is an attempt for the central bank to accrue controlling tools to monitor the private citizens as well as their financial footprints. Again how will the banking sector do when dealing with the digital assets, am tempted to ask is this a trap?,

We will be term as ungrateful if we seems not to appreciate the effort of our present leaders, but personally I am worried with the way and manner things are done in this country, are we sure this is not another trap set for Nigerians or maybe a way to actually waist the available resources so that we keep sufferings, or we just want to create history with no substantial plans to work it out.
