Why We Dumped Doge on the Initial Spike

Doge was made by someone from Portland, Oregon (where have lived for 8 years) as a joke in a very short amount of time. It basically has an infinite inflation rate by design to purposely keep the per coin price down. This was to maintain the one utility of Doge that is actually fairly powerful: sending any amount of money to any Doge wallet in the word for only 1 Doge... and if Doge is always less than a penny - CHEAP & FAST. I though one day wealthy billionaires would use this to move tons of money around, but only expected quick pump and dump spikes. In reality however, Doge's current market cap is not sustainable long term. There is a faster AND cheaper money transfer chain however (that also does a whole lot more and was NEVER a joke)... HIVE!! but I digress.

Since we lived in the area my friends and I just passed it around time and again, and was never taken all that seriously, since it was never really worth more than a penny (usually less) - so it was more or less a "whatever" kind of thing. So when my local friends and I saw it hit between 4 to 7 cents - we were thrilled and dumped it. We did this knowing Elon Musk was involved, and in retrospect should have obviously only dumped a portion at first, but the universe threw a pirate ship my way - and the pirates happened to leave some gold behind for me haha.

But he doesn't fool me for a second. Just another billionaire a little better at disguising with good PR. Wolf in scientist's clothing?? Just the clothing - Musk Mask! He needs a muzzle.

• Calling *Doge "the people's coin" right after cashing out a bunch of his stake at it's peak, ripping off the very people he told to invest it in.
• He stopped accepting BTC for Teslas and pulled his BTC stake out saying that BTC mining is bad for the environment due to excessive energy consumption - like he didn't have a team of financial experts telling him every detail of BTC (mining or otherwise) before buying billions of dollars of it.
• MOST electric car's recharge stations are not powered by sustainable energy, making my 80s Honda better for the environment that any Tesla car.
• Even Tesla*'s car batteries are not only difficult to recycle, but also require RARE Earth elements, and due to the now high demand, the mining of a one of a kind ocean floor ecosystem is about be underway that is rich in these elements. When mined, the decimation of this unstudied ecosystem could have serious repercussions for the entire ocean and possibly planet.

In the end, IDK what will happen with Doge - I certainly did not expect what happened right after I dumped mine, so I will not speculate (although I seemed to predict everything else after that to a tee). I am going to keep investing what I can into legit blockchain projects that are improving blockchain technology and making it more private, more secure, and easier for the people that wish to use it. Unique, useful, and simple utilities are always a big bonus too.

Still - the more I see crazy people invest in dead projects or hype coins that have little or no function (ie Safemoon lol), the more I remind myself to think like a dumb person when it comes to trading... with that in mind, I still can't trade in the hype (yet), but in terms on meme coins, if another one was going to get endorsed by a celebrity (could even be Musk again), it would have to be Wownero. This meme coin is actually a real blockchain with a real purpose, and it has the advantage of being a privacy coin. I have not yet seen a fork of Monero that I was not able to endorse - which is why Wownero is in my top 5 for best investment / most profit potential predictions.
