Color is also tempting, but grayscale is more appealing.

Hello #hive and #photography lovers..

This grayscale was pretty much all I had to work with when I joined the hive. Most of the photos that I published in my posts featured colors or landscape characteristics that I liked. Obviously, I had many flaws as a beginner, and this may have been a mistake in theory. Nevertheless, everything I take is work, and much of it gets discarded because I don't think it's worth it. Photographic history and development have been very modern, and different types of cameras have been established with their own uniqueness and characteristics. Even today's cell phones have many camera features. But photography doesn't have to be just about theory and tools. It's about taste, and it really depends on the person taking the pictures.

For this particular image, I decided to use gray, black, and white colors, or what we call grayscale. I think removing the color information and leaving it with grayscale results in a black-and-white image. Although it is not strictly black and white when printing photos it certainly consumes dark ink predominantly. Some of these random images that I collected are not very recent, because I did not dare display them. There is a fear that this will not be accepted. One thing that encourages me is that this is my own work and it is independent of my taste.

In terms of negative connotations, lack of emotion, violence, blood, or even luxury can be covered with this color. There is an element of peace and maturity if grayscale is the color you choose. That's right. I think grey is a more mature and responsible color, safe and calm, serious and reserved. Despite all that, grayscale also comes across as soothing and sometimes boring.

It's true that some of the people in my capture this time are boring, such as those smiling marching women. If it were full color, everything would be more vivid and there would be a correspondence between the reality of the object and the emotion displayed. At the same time, the image of one adult man and one child has connotations of peace. Although the two subjects do not appear to be smiling, their expressions indicate peaceful emotions. Again, this is very subjective, but this is my taste. I don't know yours.

Also, some people say that grey is a neutral color because it doesn't take sides with any of the other colors. So, you can use it to make a transition between two different non-colors. My conclusion, in this case, is that gray can bring out mysterious and dramatic shades. Take a look at some objects like the gazebo, the parking lot, and the style of that space. Initially, these objects look lively due to the presence of green as the color of the plants, the colors of the room, and the other hues in the background. Changing it to gray creates a sense of mystery. The gazebo looks like it has never been occupied and the room looks like it is deserted and abandoned.

It all depends on the perspective of the viewer. Whether or not the image is aesthetic can be seen from the colors that are presented. Anyone can interpret according to their own beliefs. But if you choose grayscale, you don't have to relate to it much. Just look at the emotions and objects and you will see several different emotions and perceptions. Sometimes a lot of colors can take away from the true perspective, and even lead to a lot of speculation. Unlike with grayscale, you don't have to argue about the emotions in the photo.
