Why blockchain might not profit many. Understanding opportunities and celebrating them
Hi everyone, I bring you greetings this end.
Today I will be sharing with us a body of knowledge I came across yesterday about why some people don't get rich at all not matter how hard they push. It helped me and I trust it will help someone else too.
I am certain that at this point everyone must have realized that mismanagement is one of the easiest way for wealth to be ceased from one person and given to another who understands the ethics of management.
"There's a popular saying that says that to him that has not, even the little he has shall be taken from him."
To every man on earth, nature has given him something called opportunity and by the way, the word “opportunity” means “favourable time, occasion or set of circumstances”.
Many people do not only waste their money, but also their lives, resources and opportunities. One of the greatest mistake of man is the mistake of wasting opportunities. Man has never been void of opportunities but here is a funny thing, man has always wasted this opportunities.
The world has steadiness metamorphose into different things from bata system to fiat money and now we are in the generation of cryptocurrency with boundless opportunities.
Some months ago DeFi was introduced into the finance institution with great promises of cleaning up the mess that is associated with our traditional banking system but in the midst of this, we still have people amongst us here who don't believe in the possibilities all this is affording us.
At this I wouldn't want to act as though I was a super person. I just need to say that I never understood what it means to celebrate opportunities not until some days ago when I introduced a friend into hive blockchain and the turn out was amazing with great promises to help her meet some family and personal challenges. I have now learnt to be very precise and purpose in all my dealings here.
One way that people lose good opportunities that come to them is by being extravagant. I can't be ashamed to say that I have always been extravagant and I have learnt that I can't make anything out of the opportunities here if I continue being this way.
When you live beyond your means or spend money in excess, you have an extravagant lifestyle.
I was told of a story which has now become very profound to people now and even religious people use the story most times to teach about extravagant living and has even coined a title for the story to be “Parable of the Prodigal Son”. Prodigal means one is lavishing in spending wether for good or for bad. This son wasted a number of good opportunities by wasting the opportunity to benefit from the advice his father gave him.
Even when to a greater extent, all our engagement on the blockchain is personal, we become wasters of the opportunities that should benefit others as well.
Just in the similitude of the father to the prodigal son, some very kind hearted people have come up with innovations that are meant to better our lives, still many of us have still chosen to be like the prodigal son.
The loving father to this prodigal son had a party for the boy afterwards he had spent all he had. I see the introduction of Cub Finance as a similar thing (party) for us from a loving father @leofinance. However, note what he told the older son because the prodigal boy wasn't alone.“ The father said, …all that l have is yours now.” This implied that all that was left of the father’s property belonged to the older son. Perhaps some most have thought to themselves that cub Finance should have shared evenly but the trust is that while others like me were extravagant in our dealings, others were discreet and decerning.
Yes, there was a party for the prodigal son when he returned home just as cub Finance celebrated us for being in the system but he had already squandered what his father had bequeathed him and that remained a reality.
And for some of us that got the CUB token got them out of the benevolence of @leofinance and we owe him so much thanks and regards.
But we still have the premise to bounce back and make full proof of this opportunity again.
