Jose Mourinho prolific start of the season comes to an end

It was a fight to finish as Jose Mourinho men lost to a dramatic 3-2 loss to a stubborn Hellas Verona side.

The game which saw Roma's winning streak of three games in a row come to an end after a dramatic comeback win for the home side.

The visitors were ahead in the first half after Lorenzo Pellegrini put the away side in front after half time.

Hellas Verona despite losing all of their three opening league games never relent as they fight back to secure point in the game.

The hosts however, equalized in the 49th minute after Gianluca Caprari’s cross into the box was deflected toward goal leaving Antonín Barák with a tap to equalize for the home side

Hellas Verona still keep on putting the pressure on the away side in search for a second goal which they actually did just five minutes after scoring to put themselves ahead with the lead.

The goal came when Caprari cut in from the left before shooting the ball into the far corner to put the host ahead.

However, the lead lasted just three minutes as Roma levelled it to 2-2 when Pellegrini cut in from the left and tried to find Tammy Abraham, but Ivan Ilić prodded the ball past his own goalkeeper with an own goal.

Hellas Verona never relent as the host retook the lead after Davide Faraoni unleashed a thunderous shot to put the home team back in front with a dramatic comeback to win the game by 3-2

Jose Mourinho men lost the game after they were denied response to secure a point in the game. Hellas Verona earn their first victory over AS Roma since October 1996.

Jose Mourinho is still denied a personal achievement of winning five games in a row in the beginning of a season as manager despite being manager of several big clubs in Europe.
