I almost got arrested for introducing someone to Hive
My worst decision this year can not be easily erased from my memory because where I come from crypto is illegal and anyone involve in it would be regarded as a criminal trying to make money in an illegal way and I almost got arrested and embarrassed for introducing the Hive blockchain to someone on how it's works where you can also gain from both side in the aspect of earning and also learning from other people in the blockchain.
I travelled to Abuja in the northern part of Nigeria to spend my Christmas and New year with my relatives since it's been long I saw them last. I boarded a cab heading to my relatives place and along the line there was this guy and his friend that was having a discussion and argument at the same time in the car about some certain issue and I kind of like the points they were making in the argument because to me it was kind of fun and interesting hearing such. I had to excuse them to ask if they knew about Hive blockchain and they said no, that what is that and I explained politely how they can easily be part of the blockchain to post their content and genuine points on the discussion been displayed where they can also earn from it if they partake in the platform.
The next thing I heard was insults from one of them calling me scam that if I had been scamming people today is the end of the road for me that I have actually met the wrong people and for that they will call the police for me. I pleaded to them that I mean no harm but only want to assist for them to also earn or know about the blockchain but all fall to deaf ears.
They said am actually looking for who to scam to spend my Christmas and new year, it's sounds funny to me but I wasn't in the actual state to smile at it because I was already embarrassed. It was the driver who pleaded on my behalf to let me go and they told me to drop that seeing me is already getting them angry so I dropped I boarded another cab.
People negative thought on crypto
Not everyone actually knows how the system works most people feel investing in crypto actually means losing all the money in it. Though it is a 50-50 chance either you gain or lose in the crypto world. But unlike the Hive platform, it is totally different where you don't actually need to invest money for a start to be part of it. The hive blockchain has really given so many individual in the blockchain an opportunity to showcase their talent or quality content they are made of and also there's a reward for it doing such.
It was lack of knowledge that made those guys to display that embarrassing act towards me. Technology has really gone viral over the years that has made life more easier and faster to use when partaking in it. It has also help in the aspect of providing legit jobs online and also other platforms or blockchains where one can earn real or genuine money while engaging into it.
Since it's illegal here we are always careful to avoid been arrested for what we didn't do illegally, no matter how legit the blockchain maybe it would still be considered as a way of keeping or making illegal money online.
