I bought money depicting money.

         Are you hyped about the rising bulls in the current crypto market? Me too! I can hardly contain the enthusiasm when I came across this particular silver round on APMEX.

         It's a bit unfortunate that it says BitPay on one side when BitPay is only a payment processor. But, the imagery of Bitcoin mining is something many of us are familiar with in this space. I guess I could overlook it for the crypto-themed design.

         On the other side, we see various symbols relating to the digital currency. I haven't figured out all of them yet. It's also somewhat hard to see the words due to lighting. The phrase on the coin is "The Evolution of Money". The word Bitcoin sits on the opposite side of the said phrase.

         Months ago, I mentioned about some of the silver pieces I would love to acquire. Today, I finally have one of them in my collection. This 4-ounce piece forged in the shape of a $100 USD bill has quite the details. It even came with a certificate of authenticity. The plastic case may seem like it would come off, but it seals the silver inside. Unless you are planning on using the silver for something, it most likely won't ever leave the sealed case.

         As with most silver items with larger surface area, this one also has strong reflections. I had to position the camera so you could see the designs and patterns on the silver instead of the background.

         I find these two pieces complement each other rather well. After all, they all lead back to the central theme: money.

         It's almost poetic.
