Setting up a plan for this year hasn't been the easiest task for me as I'm not very good with targets. My plan is (most of the times) to work hard, do everything I can and then I don't have any regrets as I know I've done everything in my power. It's been working perfectly and that's how I have been able to reach the level I'm at now on the Hive blockchain. I've thought starting the year without a clear plan and go with the flow would be fine this time too but now that there's an initiative and I see everyone posting their goals, I said I should make an effort and put together my plan for this year with strategies and targets.

My investment strategy for 2021

My strategy is simple but different from last year or from the three years I've been here. I'll be in accumulating mode on our blockchain as always, no spending or cashing out, that will not change. I've never cashed out any of my earnings and don't intend to do it very soon.

However, diversifying my portfolio is a priority this year. The truth is, life is changing so fast around here, new tribes and tokens appear every week and you never know what token is worth investing in. I need to keep my eyes open, be prepared to invest when the time is right. The possibilities are endless honestly and one cannot know what's going to happen tomorrow. Leofinance is teasing us with some now airdrop which I'm going to benefit from, 3Speak is doing the same, so my plan is to be open and ready.

Trading is something I enjoy but crypto trading may not happen any time soon. It depends on many things, so right now I can't really say it's going to happen this year.

There's a (secret) plan I'm going to activate soon to transform unused values I hold into crypto. I'm going to sell all the non necessary things I have and invest the earnings into crypto. This doesn't mean I'm going to transform into a minimalist, sell the house and sleep on the floor. Not quite like that but I'm going to get rid of the things I don't need. What's the point of keeping things you don't need or use anymore, when you can sell them to those that need them, and multiply the revenue easily, right? This is part of my 5R strategy and now it's time to take it seriously. I'm going to document my journey and post about it when the time comes.

Assets I want to invest in

My focus at the moment is on Hive, LEO, LBI, DLUX and a few other tokens that worth attention. I need to balance my earnings (from content creation, curation and working on different projects) and grow each equally, which is not an easy task.

Outside the Hive ecosystem I want to focus on BTC and ETH and this is a priority this year. Any earnings online will be redirected towards these assets and I also need to make sure I have plenty of earnings to redirect this year.

Preferred Investment? Crypto, Real State, Commodities, Stocks

For this year my preferred investment will be crypto mostly because it's the most promising at the moment and can't afford to miss the possibilities and opportunities offered by the crypto world.

Real estate has never been my thing and don't think it will ever be as main investment. I'm going to need to deal with some properties at some point, but not this year.

Stocks were appealing at some point in my life but right now I don't see myself investing in stocks. Possibly later when I'll have more to invest as there are profitable stocks on the long run but I can't invest in everything right now.

Commodities? Thar's a good one. Gold used to be the most valued commodity for many in my country. I don't like gold as a precious metal or jewellery but liked how it kept its value so far. Silver is my precious metal and like it as jewellery as well. However, investing in these commodities is a different thing and one must know the market and see the future to make a good investment and I can't do either right now.

Plans and goals on how to use and grow my stake

On the 20th this month will be 3 years since I registered and started with nothing, I only had the 15 Steem/Hive credit that was given upon registration. My dream has been to accumulate enough stake to be able to curate, reward good content one day.

Today I'm holding around 32,000 HP and planning to reach 50,000 HP by the end of the year and become an orca. I need 18,000 HP, which translated into earnings means 36,000 Hive roughly as I'm planning to invest some of my liquid Hive into other tokens. 36,000 is more than what I hold now, so that's going to be a challenge for sure.

My plan is to keep curating using my stake and post as I have done so far. With so many tribes and communities, posting has become more interesting. Some of my HP will be delegated though, to help good projects, which means I'll have even less than 32,000 to curate with.

LEO is another matter. Right now I'm holding 1122 LEO and 788 LBI. My plan is to grow both my LBI and Leo stake in the same time by creating content that and engaging with other community members. It's hard to set a goal when it comes to LEO but let's say 6000 LP would be a good result at the end of the year plus 1500 LBI.

My prediction for the price of Hive and LEO in 2021

This is the hardest one as no one can predict the future. This is a decentralized platform, many devs are working in as many projects and we don't know the half of it. Each of these projects can be a game changer and cause Hive and LEO rice shoot to the moon.

If I were to make a prediction, I'd say Hive at $0.5 and LEO at $1. But then again, who know, right? Will know more in a year :)
