Having a long term financial plan is a must if you don't want to live from one day to another and worry about making ends meet every day. Financial Freedom, these are two words you see people repeating quite often. Yes, financial freedom is what we all want but not everyone thinks the same way and our way to achieving it is also different.

What Is Financial Freedom For Me?

Living debt free, having a home I like, having enough funds secured for the future in assets that will grow in value, not only to cover my expenses but also to allow me to live my life the way I want, that is what financial freedom means to me.

Having a home is already checked on my list, living debt free is as well but life is unpredictable, you never know what the future holds for you, an unexpected situation can force you to accumulate depts. This is why I think securing your future financially is important.

My Plan

My main goal is to put my money to work so I don't have to. Not that I don't want to, don't get me wrong. I love what I'm doing here, I'm learning every day, but financial freedom means to be able to live without working and I'd like to do other things as well, like traveling for example.

My first choice of investment is dividend-paying assets and yield farming. We have a few investment projects on the platform, that are not only promising, but profitable as well. Investing in projects like SPI and LBI or CL means locking up money for some, investing to get more for others. Getting dividends periodically, that you can reinvest if you like is a very good thing.

Yesterday for example I moved my CUB stake from Den to Kingdom and was enjoying watching my earnings compounded in order to earn more. I've joined CUB DeFi right at the beginning, have been adding to it to be able to reinvest my CUB in farms, den and have never sold anything I've earned. This is like a safety blanket for me as I close the tab and forget about it for 2 weeks, then I remember to harvest my earnings and it's always a nice surprise to see how many CUB my portfolio has earned me. The value of my portfolio is a totally different matter, we all took a hit due to the market crash, but this is long term, so the value does not concern me at the moment.

Blogging has been part of my life for the past three and a half years. I've been here almost every single day, posting and curating, working on different projects, helping to build this platform. It's almost a lifestyle now but the more time passes, the more I consider it as part of my life.

This may sound strange, but every penny I've earned is still here or invested. The majority of my earnings has been staked, some transferred to CUB DeFi and I have some on Binance, in my trading portfolio. I've worked three and a half years without cashing out any of my earnings for personal use. This is not because I thing spending is wrong, but because I think this is the best way to put my earnings to good use and work towards gaining financial freedom.

Trading is also part of my plan. I'm a rookie, so I'm not pretending to be an experienced trader, but I'm learning every day and making progress. My trading capital has been funded by my earnings on this platform, which I'm grateful for.

The New World

Some say trading is dangerous, which is true by the way. It is also true that if you learn TA and stick to the rules, you can change your life forever, even in a short period of time. Quite many people started with as little as $2k and are holding millions now.

Some say being poor is not an excuse to stay poor. I can't consider myself poor, but I still want to change my life and am doing everything in my power for that to happen. When new users look at my portfolio, they say I'm lucky. Has happened several times. These users only see the size of my portfolio, the amount of work behind those numbers is not visible, so this has nothing to do with luck.

The biggest asset you can have is knowledge, which however can't be bought. Understanding how crypto and this new financial system works, to be able to make the most profitable decisions requires a lot of time, hard work and it's a must if you really want to change your life.

We're lucky to be able to do this from home, with a laptop or a smartphone. We have a lot of opportunities others didn't have in the past.

Transitioning from fiat to crypto is an ongoing process that can't be stopped. With El Salvador accepting Bitcoin as legal tender, a step has been made, a small step that will be followed by other steps and these steps will change the world.

Sooner or later not even skeptics will be able to avoid crypto as it will be everywhere. Early adopters are in a very good position now, buying early and holding definitely pays off.

We have the opportunity to do that with our main token and tribe tokens. Accumulating now, compounding and putting our stake to good use can lead to great things in the future.

Many say they want to be rich but they expect the win the lottery as hard work is not their style. Those who show up here every day and work towards their goals every day are the future millionaires.

Back in the days people used to say the US Dollar is the safest currency in the world as $1 is still $1 even after decades. If you'd have $100 in 1920 for example, you could use that $100 bill today, which is not true for many countries as currencies changed faster than fashion. However, look at the purchasing power of the most powerful nation's currency in the world, which is also the world's reserve currency.

I made a choice and I know it's the right one.
