Elon Musk has announced that Tesla is no longer going to accept Bitcoin as a payment option for their vehicles which has sent the price of many cryptocurrencies falling.

In my view, this may actually help staking cryptocurrencies in the long run as it is likely that Tesla (under Elon's leadership) will eventually accept staking cryptocurrencies as a payment option. People have been dragging the "Dogefather" to the ground over his decision to dump Bitcoin as a payment option, but this is a unique opportunity for coins like Ethereum, Tron, EOS, and even Hive/Steem to gain in popularity and support. Perhaps someday Elon will accept Ethereum or Tron as a payment option.
