A quick review: The Batman [2022] (No Spoiler Review): Score: 8.5 / 10

Key Notes:

  • Instant Classic with minor quirks.
  • Robert Pattinson, as expected, out performed as The Batman.
  • The acting was phenomenal on all parts, but there were some writing issues that irked me.
  • A LOOOONG Movie, some say good, some say bad for its length, but it does the job.

Final words: The film was incredibly well made and well produced. Robert Pattinson has always been a great actor but in this film he really knocked it out of the park. It may be my bias but he did an incredible job as The Batman. Catwoman, the actress, what's her name? Easily forgettable, but she played her roll well, however, the writing for a select few lines in the movie felt out of place. She was the only character really pushing a particular narrative that is extremely popular with the "woke" crowd, definitely her choice words weren't for everybody and her lines are VERY noticeable. Zoë Kravitz, Cat Woman, did well overall if you can overlook the poor choice of writing in some scenes.

Overall, the movie is a well made movie with very few quirks. The supporting actors and actresses really supported the story and it felt like you were really in Gotham. Feeling Bruce Wayne's uncertainty and insecurity, you could really feel the struggle as you learned more and more about the riddles that were set before you. Everything has a meaning and it felt great to see everything unfolding. Not a story that will leave you at the edge of your seat - it paced itself - but its a film where you can't get your eyes off of. A classic movie flick. Good enough for theatre viewing? Good enough, but not perfect. It has left me wanting more of Robert Pattinson's Batman.
