Crypto Update
For anyone new to LeoFinance and Hive, I wanted to take a moment to share where I am on my crypto journey. Earlier this year, I began moving out of the positions I had with miners. The reason for doing so is that the threshold for a decent return had risen above my budget, so it was better for me to move those assets into a more promising area.
So I started a push into Splinterlands, both for the game itself, and to partake in the airdrop. I love D.R.I.P.S, and watching the number of SPS increase on a daily basis is good for the soul. Lately though, I've been buying cards sparingly, while also delegating an ever-growing stash of STP tokens, to enjoy the bounty of dividends. My most recent purchase, was of a Chaos Legion pack, and I expect to do more of that in the future.
Another thing, has been the process of winnowing down the large number of tokens that remained in my collection. Without the resources of a whale, this not-quite-broke student has to choose carefully which streams to pan for gold in. Trust me, if I ever come into some real money, you'll know it, as it will give birth to a brand-new whale overnight. But for now, slow and steady wins the race.
For a short while I had a job which combined with classes, kept me so busy that I fell behind on writing posts. Realizing that the position was not for me, I left and now had a bit more time in-between professions, so hopefully will be able to find more time for content creation. I love to write, and there's nothing better than taking a blank page and creating something where nothing existed before.
I also took a flier on the SEED token (as Barbara from Shark Tank would say), and enjoy backing the founder in his quest for success. As soon as the project was announced, I knew I wanted to be involved with it since he has an excellent reputation throughout Hive. There are several other projects I've joined as well, while keeping any risk as low as I possibly can. This means taking smaller positions on a number of tokens, in the hopes that one (or more) will take off.
My goal by the end of the year is to double my SPT stash, and to continue growing my LEO and HIVE power. Right now I'm taking advantage of the free time I have, to continue putting content out while I have the opportunity. This window may suddenly close, in which case, I can share in comments, which don't require the research and time investment, while allowing me to remain engaged. I hope your crypto journey is going well. Let's continue to make this the place to be on the blockchain!
