As many of you may know, we had some tough times here early in the year where I had to liquidate some holdings due to issues at home. As the primary caregiver for a terminal relative, it can be a challenge being the responsible one here who isn't bleeding funds from our elderly matriarch. She did so much for us and I'm happy to give back. So here's an update for where things stand with my account.

I'm seeing growth again, with an investment in mining tokens gave me a small daily stream of tokens. It was fun seeing that fiat turning into crypto right in front of my eyes, while supporting the price of LEO and HIVE. I always pay at least the asking price in doing so. If felt so good being able to power up on both platforms and watch those numbers go up!

The other thing I'm doing is engaging more. I had been confused at first as there seemed to be tokens seeming to appear from nowhere. Puzzled. I went over to HiveStats to take a look. "Where are these LEO tokens coming from?" I'd completely forgotten that sometimes people upvote comments and that's what caused the appearance of these "mystery LEO" tokens. Thanks to those of you out there taking the time to support my comments. It was a welcome surprise indeed!

Current Account Status: Growing

I try to make a minimum of 10 comments per day, with a mix between the daily LeoMarketTalk post and outside of that on regular LeoFinance and Hive posts. So far this week I must have at least 50 comments (thoughtful ones) and am glad to be doing my part to help increase engagement.

The other thing I'm doing is to power up slowly, usually a little bit each day to help with curation. When I had my financial issues, there was very little I could do quickly. So I'm leaving a "just in case" buffer so that I can respond quickly in the future. Yesterday I powered up 100 LEO. So going forward, I'll let the rewards accumulate and power up when they reach 100, then begin again. This way I'll have some flexibility if things ever get crazy in the future.

My short tern Goal is to get my LEO voting power up to 0.100 from the 0.30 where it is now. Long term, I plan to cross 1.0, so that my curation can be significant enough to show up on the top 20 list of voters. The thing is not to expect immediate progress, but take small steps that give you a little victory every day. How are you doing?
