What's that old saying? "There's nothing new under the Sun" and so it is with the latest direction crypto is taking. When you've been around long enough, even a bear market can seem like just another sight on the merry-go-round.

After the heights gained recently, it almost seems fated for the price to come down into "normal" territory. Frankly, I'm neither surprised or concerned about the latest developments.

'Bearing' with it

Now, if you're somebody new to the world of cryptocurrency, you're probably losing your shit right about now. But lemme tell ya' been there, done that. 2022 will be year five for me on what we now call Hive, and I've built up a thick skin when it comes to the wild gyrations in the price of crypto.

Fact is, I'm buying. Picking through the bargain bins and looking for value while prices are "low." Who could have imagined just one year ago, that just under $2.00 HIVE would be considered a good price to get in? But that's the reality we're now living in and I couldn't be happier. Those that are savvy enough to toss the FUD, can make some smart buys right now that will pay off later.

Of course I'm just a blogger, and none of this is investment advice, and you should always do your own research before making any investment decisions. I'm just looking at the state of the market and sharing my own opinion of how I plan to react to the world around me.

Just thinking of past price rises, and the aftermath when people reacted in fear that the market actually wasn't going to go on increasing forever, comes to mind.

There's a time to buy, a time to HODL, and a time to take profits. Part of being successful on the blockchain is having a sense of what "time" it actually is. I'll say this; I'm bullish on the future of HIVE, an optimistic of the direction all the new development is taking us. This is a time to build a strong foundation for the prosperity to come.
