Have you ever heard the saying of the drop that falls on the rock? This is very much used by entrepreneurs to people who do motivational audios, but sometimes we don't get the sense of what this illustration wants to convey as it did in my case.

Since I was little, my parents always taught me the value of hard work, helped me try to start businesses so I could be entrepreneurial and also motivated me by telling me all the benefits I could get if I was my own boss and worked on my own. But a necessary factor that was missing in that financial education was telling me that sometimes we can also have failures, that sometimes things can go wrong or that things are not going to turn out the way you expected. And I think that talking about failures was just as important, because it would have helped me not to give up so easily. For example, I started many types of businesses, but when things went wrong, I didn't keep trying: *If it's not working, it won't work anymore," and that's how far my idea of entrepreneurship went and I didn't try it again.

I remember when an opportunity arose to sell different types of sweet breads filled with arequipe, pastry cream, fruit cream, chocolate, among other flavors. I was doing very well with that business, I had many customers in my neighborhood and daily sold more than 150 breads, also little by little I was seeing how the incoming money grew and grew, but when it got harder and harder due to inflation it came to a point where I didn't have enough money to buy the minimum wholesale. And instead of thinking of some strategy or analyzing what I could do to keep my business from falling apart, I simply abandoned it because in my mind it was no longer profitable and the little money I had So I changed the industry and started selling shavers, soaps and toothpaste, but later when the situation in the country got worse and these basic products started to be scarce, I did not look for a way to keep investing or keep looking for suppliers so that my business would not collapse, because that moment of need could have increased my sales a lot, but again the lack of constancy made me see that since it was very difficult I was no longer profitable and I abandoned it again.

What we learn of this story is that it is very necessary to learn the importance of Constancy and also be aware that there will always be potholes in the road. We can all go through bad times with the business ideas we have thought of but we need to keep going with constancy, look for ways to diversify, try new methods or change the way you offer the product but never think that because things are difficult it is no longer worth it. At this moment we are seeing a small setback in the economy or in the price of cryptomonies, but that does not mean that it is not worth investing or that everything is lost. Remember the drop in The Rock that little by little falls until it finally breaks it, it is the constancy that helps us to overcome the bad moments and to go ahead obtaining incredible results.
