Some ETH guesswork

I recently put some money into Bitmex for a bit of Leverage trading. (It's kind of like modern day gambling and it is just a small amount to play with)

I am happy to say I have made a 50% profit so far and most of it was from the ETH long position I held a day ago.

Now we hit an ATH and ETH is trending down again. So where does it stop?

I postulate there are 2 options,

  • It goes to roughly a 1200 USD value, which would represent a 17% drop
  • It drops to roughly a 1000 USD value, which represents a 30% drop

I have taken some small long positions on the way down but I do hope that it does not go to the 2nd option.

Either way, ETH seems to be setting up for a big move after. Breaking an ATH leaves a token in uncharted territory and look what BTC did when that happened...
