Many people have use cryptocurrency as a full time job without doing any job and their responsibilities depends on the crypto while there are use some who earn on crypto as a passive income that is they have other work they are doing so the earnings they got they never depend on it but they use it as to complement the money they are earning in their day to day job. This is my opinion not an advice, to me using crypto as a full time and as passive Income is good. I have seen many people living through the means of their earning in cryptocurrency and they are doing fine. source But what about when there is a bear market , when the price of the crypto went downward and the crypto you want to sell amount to little amount of money. What will you do? Since you don’t have any other means . You will definitely sell it at a cheap price. The best way is as you are earning take out of it and establish yourself off cryptocurrency or diversification that when you have other means of source of income. Using it as a passive income is good and this helps to generate more money which can later even be invested in cryptocurrency.
