Racing is better when you know some of the personalities. Having the privilege of living in North Carolina means I took my 2yo and newborn with my mom and granny to visit the Richard Petty museum when it was just an outbuilding on his farm. I also bought my canning tomatoes from the farm next door to Richard. He is a quality human being--classic NASCAR. And yes, moonshine running is the story behind NASCAR--a long, proud history of fighting oppressive politicians.
