Black Friday is the day known for the extremely low prices and for the offers/deals. We have seen what's happening in America with TV's from 1000$ to 100$ and all the craze around it!

You would expect the same to be happening in Greece and in a way it is, but we only got the stupid craze, not the deals! To begin with, because we are too cool to be true, we don't have just a small black Friday, we got

FREAKING BLACK WEEK

Yeah you heard me, we got a week full of deals! Not like you plebs with your one Friday fighting over a TV! We are privileged enough to fight for a straight week!

Jokes aside though black Friday or black week (say it however you like) in Greece sucks....wait for it......A LOT!

To begin with, a whole bunch of us have no jobs and especially now with the codiv19 the situation got worse. In other words, we don't care about a brand new laptop, we would prefer to eat some food!

Don't let me start talking about the so-called "deals". Literally, they are trying to make a fool out of us and the thing is it gotten so obvious that even the news talked about it!

Let me describe to you what's really happening! Let's say that we see a tv that is on a black week offer for 500$ out of 1500$ Now let's pretend that we never saw it cause actually, you are not gonna find any offer like that!

Let's start from the beginning once again. The vast majority of the offers are about 20% off, nothing more nothing less. There are some tricks though. One of which is to change the price a couple of days ago or a month and then add a small discount for the desperate to buy!

Let me show you what i mean!

So this is one of the products that i randomly saw. It's a
Philips 3000 and it can be used both for face and hair! The best price you can find it is 19.99 euro and the worst 29,99. Add to that amount an extra 5 euros for the shipping costs.

Now let's look at a diagram with the prices since August 2019. It was a product that 1 year ago was from as little as 14 to 28. Literally, the same and even better prices from now.

The average price of the product was 23 euro as you can see and it had a huge pump 1 month before Black Friday that made its cost to 40 euros. Then a huge dump at 14 euros while the average was 28. Now it's as mentioned above.

In other words it's basically in the same price as it was 1 year ago and through that year there are a couple of times that it was actually cheaper than the "super offer" it has now!

What Do You Think?

Does the same happening in your Country?
