Yesterday i had an idea for a very interesting post, at least to my eyes. It was around the communities we got here, trying to help out either new members or existing ones to find a place with common interests and that they would love to join!

I have a tendency to write quite lengthy posts, you all know me, but this one ended even bigger! I am talking about 1435 words and it's only the first part! Check it below if you want!

Communities you may enjoy Posting (Part 2)

The Idea

Anyways, to create this post as well as other ones, but especially this, i had to do a little bit of research which, to be honest, took some time. I will also have to do the same amount of research most likely tomorrow for my final part!

So while i was searching and searching i thought: Why i don't use the search bar?

*To my surprise, i couldn't find any search bar. Honestly, i may be stupid and it's in front of my eyes but i can't see it! That's why the idea, although it's nothing special, is to create a search bar.

Why we Need it?

To begin with, i have no technical knowledge regarding how easy or hard is to implement this, i may consider it a small feature but in terms of constructing it, it may be big.

Now as we all know, the use of it, is exactly as the name suggests, "to search" but i will try to give you different examples of searches that can be done by users and some are:

Searching for Content you like

There are days that i got plenty of time and there are days that i don't. When i have time, i usually try to curate posts that are firstly on my feed (from people i follow) and secondly i go to the explore option and check from the recent posts one to one till i find something that i like or i deem interesting.

When i don't have time i may click on a tag and check more relevant posts to what i may like. There are times though, that i want specific posts and not to "waste time" searching through the whole tag!

For example, i may want to check a review on certain cryptos. I am confident that someone had written something about it but i don't want to spend time searching and searching through the tag. I simply wanna click "insert crypto" and find the related results

Searching for informative content that will help with your post

This one is similar to the above. Let's say that i want to write about the different communities which i did. Instead, of going to every community and searching for posts (some of them got informative posts pinned), i simply could do it with a single line in a search bar!

Searching for informative content to help you in life

I bet all of you have a relevant experience regarding that. Let's say you want to change your recovery account or learn how to use a certain dapp, or exchangers like coinbase and binance. In other words, you need a guide.

*I am 100% confident that in here you can find what you seek and i have found many useful guides since i joined. Do you know how i found those guides?

Either by *bookmarking them immediately or by searching via google and adding the steemit/hive/Leo next to my search. Why we make things so hard? Let me just click a "how to use Binance" in here and get over with it!

Note that it also increases user retention as i will stay in the platform searching and reading and not via google! @khaleelkazi what do you think?

*What do you guys think?

I am too stupid that i can't see it in front of my eyes?

Is a search bar useful for you?

Is it easy or hard to create one?*
