Hi there and welcome to my blog, my name is Erik Gustafsson and I go by the handle @flaxz.
Happy Hive Birthday - 3 Years
So today I recorded a video and intended to post it, though I had some network issues when trying to upload, and then I saw that I had forgot about Hive turning 3 years old so the video will be published tomorrow instead.
Hive turning 3 years old is big, especially for a fork, and if you have been following things Hive is outperforming the old chain in price (most of the time) and in development (all of the time), IMO.
Many of you where also there when it all happened, though a lot of people have also joined this blockchain since then.
The time around the fork was very turbulent, but the community supported it, and I firmly believe that we are all a lot stronger as a community because of it, it's OUR blockchain and we OWN it.
So today is a time to remember how Hive came to be, and a time to look to the future and what we want it to still become, and then plan and act to make it happen.
