Here's how Hive works:

Blockchain/your account level: Hive is censorship resistant by design.

So you can never stop people from posting on the blockchain from their account, no matter how right, wrong, immoral, fucked up, whatever you personally think.

It doesn't matter, people can say what they want here and it will always be published to the blockchain.

No exceptions.

Community level: However, that doesn't mean that the communities who display the content find everything acceptable.

Just like in society, communities have rules around what's 'right' and 'wrong' etc.

The cool thing about Hive however, is that if you don't like those rules, you're not blocked.

You just move to another community where your idea of 'right' is different.

LeoFinance community example: We then have front-ends like LeoFinance (or your meme community) which choose to display content from the blockchain as the community sees fit.

For example here on LeoFinance only finance-related content is accepted.

Not porn.

So if someone is posting porn, those with a HIVE and LEO stake can choose to downvote the content until it's hidden from the front-end.

This community tokenisation means that those with stake essentially have ownership in the community.

Therefore giving them a financial incentive to keep it clean and on track.

If you have an issue then buy stake or speak to people with stake in that community to do something about it.
