Leveraging your Hive blog to put your offer in front of a wider target audience.

In another life, I’m an email copywriter.

My niche is writing for companies with a somewhat dormant email list that I can revive.

I’ve always loved pure email marketing.

I don’t care what you say, there’s still just something romantically personal about receiving an email.

Something that’s taken to the next level when it’s purely text based and like I’m having a conversation in the early 00s with a foreign pen pal.

I know my name is mail merged in.

I knowwww.

But when done right, it is the best.

Content vs Copywriting

On the other hand, I’ve always used my LeoFinance blog purely for SEO style content pieces.

I continue to drive a shitload of organic traffic to our domain simply by writing pieces with evergreen headlines and continuing to link back to them as I go.

But I’ve wanted change for a while now.

But the more I think about things, the more I feel there is literally no difference between an email list and followers on a Web3 account you own.

Your email list is literally just a text file stored on your computer.

Nobody is taking that from you.

Similarly, your followers are tied to your Web3 Hive account at the blockchain level.

They’re yours until they choose not to be.

Unlike on Twitter or Facebook, the platform itself has no say over the matter.

Finding synergy with Hive

Things however, start to get really interesting when you throw social dApps built on Hive into the mix.

By publishing a blog to a community on Hive, you not only speak to your followers who see it in their feed..

But also to a targeted niche of further readers.

Yes you earn upvotes for your content from rewards pools, which is cool.

But if you have an offer or something to sell, then this is a literal gold mine.

Remember me encouraging you to consider what gives Hive-Engine tokens value?

The answer being that it gives you influence within an extremely niche community of readers.

Essentially you can continue to put your offer in front of people who are more likely to be future buyers from you.

It’s a focused extension of your personal list.

Leveraging Web3

Can you see the synergy between your email list and a Web3 account?

How by using both email and your Web3 Hive account together, they can feed into each other perfectly.

Not many people use Hive communities this way.

Yet.

Literally our man @gualteramarelo is the only man I’ve seen leveraging his Web3 account to take his business to the next level.

For Gualter, it’s not about the upvotes.

It’s about traditional sales via his offer.

This is the way.

And this is the way I’m going to continue to encourage people to incorporate Web3 into their traditional email marketing.

Best of probabilities to you.
