These; From people who have become elite in their professions, Business, politics, sports, etc. who are in a leading position in the world, People with high recognition rates thanks to television and similar mass media, From the phenomena of the internet world, Or it may consist of people in similar positions in any way. They are the people who shape the society with their actions, words and lives.
When it comes to their private lives; Although they express their discomfort, they often do not hesitate to eat the fruits of their preferred fame.
We know what Elon Musk has done to Dogecoin with a few tweets. In doing so, he used his intelligence, the community behind him, and the power stemming from the community.
He could have posted similar tweets about physical items instead of cryptocurrencies and had the same effect. For example;
When he said, "I bought the xxx brand washing machine and it has an extraordinary working system," the sales of any washing machine brand that can be entered in the xxx field could also explode in a few weeks. However, if the said brand did not have the said features, it would be understood in a short time and it would be understood that it was an advertisement and an advertisement-related fraud.
In crypto, the situation works differently and the desired effect may be longer. Anyone who knows the history of crypto knows about Dogecoin and knows how it came to be. He knows whether he is right or not.
I think these types of cases shake up the future of crypto and slow down the adoption process. There are cryptos that deserve much better in terms of technology and infrastructure. And they should stand out more with their ease of use and cheap shipping processes.
If we go back to the people who have become the property of the society; The fact that they are an effective weapon with their actions and rhetoric cannot be denied. But they need to know that this weapon originated from the communities that followed them.
They should not use the power they derive from the communities against the communities. They need to be more careful and confident in directing the masses in any way. In what they say or in the advertisement they play; They should not have the slightest doubt that the product (or crypto) they are dealing with reflects the facts / quality / deserves it.
Consciously or unconsciously using their power, which they will only use for their own benefit, against those who give them that power, may injure the hand that pulls the trigger like a backfiring weapon after a while.
Being united and acting jointly is a great power. Giving this power to people who come out of ourselves and ensure the formation of power, and to gather around the common benefit is to feel the contribution of the community members more.
When the power is used in the right area at the right time and contributes to those who create the power, the number of beneficiaries goes from singular to plural… And this is to please many people, not just one.
