Asset tokenization enabled by blockchain introduces a new ecosystem. In it, people can trade fungible or non-fungible assets and price them according to the existing demand for it. Building games in this new world turns that Counter Strike skin stored in your Steam account into a token stored in your wallet and truly yours. Once in your wallet, nothing and no one will be able to take it out of your possession and the profits made from selling it will be easily convertible to other crypto assets.

⚔️ Gods Unchained and the Monetization of Card Games
Gods Unchained is a P2E game that had its beta released in 2018. Tracing the origin of famous card games, such as Hearthstone, Runeterra, Magic: The Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh - for the older ones -, brings a unique history and unites the mechanics of card games with web3.
According to data from Entertainment Software Association, $60.4B were spent on games in 2021. This money raised by the companies developed by the game does not reach their players, the main vectors for the companies' success. Regulatory limitations, lack of business interest and inefficiency of the technologies used prevent any distribution of monetary incentives to players.
Gods Unchained comes with the promise of changing that story. Led by Chris Clay, a former employee of the company that created Magic, its intent is to give players real ownership of their assets. Through cards in NFTs and its native token, the GODS, the game finally provides the monetization of battles between users, paying them for their effort, activity and study.
Before the game was even released, a buyer paid $61,000 for a mystical card, the Hyperion. Shortly after, more than 1M had already been acquired by interested in being part of the game. Since then, its developers have gradually brought several innovations, such as the possibility of trading NFTs in Immutable X and the launch of several expansions over the years.
The great advantage of Gods Unchained is the inexistence of costs for players to have access to the cards and start their battles. Many play to earn games require high investments to enter their universes and receive incentives for playing, making it impossible for many to enter.
New players start with 140 cards provided for free when starting the game. These cards are used in games with opponents: they are represented by monsters, spells, protections and other utilities. It's up to each one to choose a winning strategy to be able to defeat their opponent. Balancing your mana, time of the rounds and card combos, battles get harder and harder as your opponents level up.
Despite being competitive, clashes are essential for players to get more powerful cards , The more matches played, the faster the level progression and new cards will be given to players as a reward. In addition to this, players also receive an internal game currency called Flux. With each win, periodic amounts of Flux are received, useful for evolving free cards and making them tradable NFTs on the Gods Unchained marketplace. The GODS can be used by its holders to vote on proposals for the governance of the game, buy new cards or even make the stake in the pool of GODS, increasing your bag of tokens.
With this, Gods Unchained introduces a fun game to the crypto community and introduces an economy of its own, based on trading cards for battles between players and their governance token, GODS.
💸 Maximizing Rewards with GUStakes
In order to increase the rewards for Gods Unchained players, GUStakes has brought a solution that allows players to stake on matches with their opponents. Through its protocol, users can deposit your tokens in a smart contract and the winning player takes all!
It's the integration of a new lego money in Gods Unchained.
Aware of Ethereum's issues with scalability, GUStakes has brought its dapp to lower-fee and more user-friendly networks. One of them is the FOXes' favorite network: the Gnosis Chain. This way, players can stake their xDAI and bet their tokens, while having fun in the game.
