In recent years, we have seen a Cambrian explosion of decentralized applications, commonly known as web3. Blockchain, conceived by Satoshi Nakamoto, has gone far beyond a decentralized mechanism for making payment transactions. Ethereum made it the infrastructure for on-chain computing.
The interest of developers to create applications with smart contracts made its expansion possible. Loan protocols, decentralized intermediaries, income aggregators began to emerge, organizing themselves in DAOs - Decentralized Autonomous Organizations -. Last year, JPEG-mania showed us the potential and scalability of NFT-based communities, creating multi-million dollar treasure troves and hundreds of thousands of users. Contributors to the project began making dozens, if not hundreds, of decisions on a daily basis, which directly impacted their token holders.
We return to see the information transshipment scenario present in web2. This unconsciously created barrier inhibits user participation in projects.
