El Universo DeFi a Tu Alcance desde Hive

Saludos, por aquí de nuevo amigos de Hive Blockchain. Me encuentro en un constante aprendizaje y experimentación con el universo de las Finanzas Descentralizadas (DeFi). Esta es una magnífica oportunidad que no ofrece la tecnología blockchain y las aplicaciones descentralizadas (dApps) a través de la Web3, donde los protagonistas ya no son las empresas, las marcas o los que más tienen. Es una oportunidad que se construye gracias a la visión de personas empeñadas en devolver el poder y el control, a todos en general, sobre su dinero y sus finanzas. Y este es el primer factor a tener en cuenta cuando nos involucramos en DeFi: somos los responsables y quienes tomamos las decisiones sobre nuestro dinero, en este caso, para aprovechar beneficios de protocolos que son transparentes, automáticos y seguros. Esto nos obliga a dos grandes tareas: aprender, educarse e investigar todo lo relacionado con este mundo para asegurarnos de que realmente es así lo que les mencione unas líneas antes. The DeFi Universe at Your Fingertips from Hive

Greetings, here again, friends of Hive Blockchain. I am constantly learning and experimenting with the universe of Decentralized Finance (DeFi). This is a magnificent opportunity not offered by blockchain technology and decentralized applications (dApps) through Web3, where the protagonists are no longer companies, brands, or those who have the most. It is an opportunity being built thanks to the vision of people determined to give back power and control, to everyone in general, over their money and finances. And this is the first factor to keep in mind when we get involved in DeFi: we are the ones who are responsible and who make the decisions about our money, in this case, to take advantage of benefits from protocols that are transparent, automatic, and secure. This obliges us to two big tasks: learn, educate ourselves and investigate everything related to this world to ensure that what I mentioned a few lines before is really so. You will want to read back a little further.

Este mundo te enamora. Saber que poco a poco puedes ir construyendo un flujo constante de ingresos pasivos, es fascinante. Claro que hay riesgos, pero como ya mencione, somos responsables de decidir si los asumimos o no. Yo estoy decidido y por eso continuo. You fall in love with this world. Knowing that little by little you can build a steady stream of passive income is fascinating. Particularmente, estoy trabajando en iniciar una nueva aventura en un protocolo amigo de esta plataforma. Se trata de @shapeshiftdao en la cual llevo algún tiempo dándole largas para aprovechar del excelente trabajo que allí están realizando. Te soy sincero, no me gusta la red Ethereum, a pesar de que ha sido la principal promotora de toda la expansión DeFi en el mundo. Quizás más adelante hable de ello, pero hoy quiero mostrar la manera en que pienso adentrarme con este protocolo. Exactamente como funciona y los beneficios de usar ShapeShift, los compartiré en un próximo post. Por ahora, quiero mostrarles como podrían hacer para involucrarse con, no solo este protocolo, sino con muchos otros en diferentes cadenas. Para esto, nos apoyaremos en nuestra gran plataforma de token HiveEngine y su hermana igual de poderosa, TribalDEX.

Particularly, I am working on starting a new adventure in a friendly protocol of this platform. It is @shapeshiftdao in which I have been dragging my feet for some time to take advantage of the excellent work they are doing there. I'll be honest with you, I don't like the Ethereum network, even though it has been the main promoter of the whole DeFi expansion in the world. Maybe later I'll talk about it, but today I want to show the way I plan to get into it with this protocol. Exactly how it works and the benefits of using ShapeShift, I will share in a future post. For now, I want to show you how you could get involved with not only this protocol but many others in different chains. For this, we will rely on our great token platform HiveEngine and its equally powerful sister, TribalDEX.

Cuando queremos entrar e invertir en un protocolo DeFi, lo primero que debemos tener a la mano son dos cosas: una billetera compatible con estos protocolos, tales como MetaMask o Brave Wallet, que es la que estoy usando y las criptomonedas que necesitarás para adentrarte en el mismo. En el caso de la inversión que deseo hacer en ShapeShif, necesitaré principalmente Ethereum, aunque puedo entrar con otras monedas también. Para no enredar mucho el asunto y hacerlo más sencillo, para mí principalmente y espero que igual lo sea para ustedes, me enfocaré en solo conseguir el Ethereum necesario. Y aquí viene lo mágico. A través de HiveEngine o TribalDEX, puedo adquirir SWAPETH, un token vinculado al ETH y que luego puedo transferir a mi billetera favorita, todo desde una sola aplicación. Para ello, solo debo disponer de algunas monedas en HiveEngine, principalmente SWAPHIVE. Luego, simplemente hago un SWAP, bien sea en la opción disponible en la parte superior de Hive Engine o en las piscinas en TribalDEX, donde intercambio mis SWAPHIVE por SWAPETH, y en cuestión de segundos debería tenerlo en mi saldo. Después, solo los retiro a mi billetera, donde los recibiré como ETH, así de sencillo. Debemos tener en cuenta que la transferencia genera comisiones, por lo que habrá que estar atento a este aspecto.

When we want to enter and invest in a DeFi protocol, the first thing we must have at hand are two things: a wallet compatible with these protocols, such as MetaMask or Brave Wallet, which is the one I am using and the cryptocurrencies you will need to get into it. In the case of the investment I wish to make in ShapeShif, I will mainly need Ethereum, although I can get in with other coins as well. In order not to tangle the matter too much and make it simpler, for me mainly and I hope it will be the same for you, I will focus on just getting the Ethereum needed. And here comes the magic. Through HiveEngine or TribalDEX, I can acquire SWAPETH, a token linked to ETH and which I can then transfer to my favorite wallet, all from a single application. To do this, I just need to have some coins in HiveEngine, mainly SWAPHIVE. Then, I simply do a SWAP, either in the option available at the top of HiveEngine or in the pools in TribalDEX, where I exchange my SWAPHIVE for SWAPETH, and in a matter of seconds, I should have it in my balance. Then, I just transfer them to my wallet, where I will receive them as ETH, it's as simple as that. We must take into account that the transfer generates commissions, so we will have to be attentive to this aspect.

Para la estrategia de esta inversión que quiero realizar, he decidido apoyarme en AAVE Protocol. Por lo que en vez de adquirir ETH a través de HiveEngine o TribalDEX, he preferido comprar SWAPMATIC y transferirlos a mi billetera, donde los recibo como MATIC. Luego, aumento mi aporte de liquidez en AAVE y solicito un préstamo por la cantidad que me sirva para estar tranquilo, en este caso en WETH, que es la moneda vinculada a ETH en Polygon. Estos WETH, funcionan igual que ETH en ShapeShift, por lo que pienso no tendré problemas con ello. En todo caso, puedo también realizar un intercambio para convertirlos en ETH. Parece un arroz con mango, ¿cierto? Pero a medida que seguimos experimentando y haciendo el trabajo, vamos aprendiendo. Para conseguir mis MATIC, como ya dije, solo realice un SWAP en TribalDEX, lo cual es muy rápido y sencillo. Luego transfiero estos SWAPMATIC a mi billetera de Polygon y listo, recibo MATIC en pocos segundos y a un costo ínfimo.

For the strategy of this investment I want to make, I have decided to rely on AAVE Protocol. So instead of acquiring ETH through HiveEngine or TribalDEX, I have preferred to buy SWAPMATIC and transfer them to my wallet, where I receive them as MATIC. Then, I increase my liquidity contribution in AAVE and request a loan for the amount that serves me for peace of mind, in this case in WETH, which is the currency linked to ETH in Polygon. These WETH, work just like ETH in ShapeShift, so I think I will have no problems with it. In any case, I can also perform a swap to convert them to ETH. Sounds like rice with mangoes, right? But as we keep experimenting and doing the work, we are learning. To get my MATICs, as I said, I just perform a SWAP in TribalDEX, which is very quick and easy. Then I transfer these SWAPMATIC to my Polygon wallet and that's it, I get MATIC in a few seconds and at a very low cost.

Como pueden ver, no hay excusas para no aprender sobre estas herramientas de inversión. Nuestra cadena de bloques, incluso, nos la pone muy sencillo con su versatilidad para adquirir la mayoría de las principales criptomonedas del mercado. Es una forma realmente ingeniosa y práctica de involucrarse con el mundo DeFi y poder ir construyendo más opciones de ingresos pasivos. El Universo Blockchain tiene muchas opciones diversas para aprovechar, por lo que solo es cuestión de prepararse muy bien, estudiar, aprender y experimentar, entendiendo y comprendiendo los riesgos y asumiendo la toma de decisiones como una manera de asumir control sobre nuestro dinero, nuestras finanzas y nuestra vida. Our blockchain, even, makes it very simple for us with its versatility to acquire most of the major cryptocurrencies on the market.
