Humans are ever demanding and ever unsatisfied creature, as long as we feed our wants, we always want more. Everybody wants a luxurious car, a sophisticated house and so on but we can’t all have this things as our financial powers vary but one thing we have in common is time. When you want so many things, you will realize that you will need much time to get it done, get it maintained, and so on but less time is required for less stuffs.

There is a rule that says a reduction in ’A’ causes a rise in ‘B’, if you decide to reduce the way you carry your care about one thing, then you will start to care about another more. If you reduce the debt you have, you start to have enough and or even excess that you can start investing with. Reducing the time spent on unproductive things increases the time to be spent on productive things. When people purchase more things, they have this sense of belonging and self-conviction that they deserve it and worked hard so they should be able to spoil themselves. Getting to achieve more is about letting go of so many things creating a less for that in other to achieve more of the other thing.

In the rules of getting less to achieve more, you need to understand that every activity you partake in is going to take away your time and energy and you cannot allow your time and energy to be misused. You need to make sure you get and use your energy on things you know is relevant.

Like I said, advertisers and marketers are very good at their jobs and they do it perfectly, you will be the person to determine what you need and what you do not need. When you are dealing with overcoming the advertising and marketing to get more, you need to understand that you only buy what you need at a particular time and not what you need for the future. If you buy what you think you need for the future, there are a very strong chances that you will not be needing them anymore as time goes on so they just occupy space. An advertisement will push a product to you as a necessity for the future because it is cheap now and you may need it in the future but the truth is wait till the future when you need it and not now when it will become a mess without use with you.

Conclusion

If you want to beat advertisers and marketers to their game when you are buying, it is good to hold a list of things you want to buy, this list should include things you need and thing you do not need. Anything outside this falls into a list of not necessary. With this, you can beat advertisers telling you to get things you do not need.
