Tough times as a sport punter. Just nothing goes my way. Goals in injury time, crushing a golden ticket. An own goal in the last minutes of a game, giving the team with no shots on target a golden punt, but ruining my combo. So, yes hard times as a sports bettor. But I will continue as planned. There is no need to chase the losses, but just record them and them to the books and work harder.
As a sports bettor, your work is done when the bets are placed. After that it is just wait and see. I do have to admit that I also had tickets with none correct, but these are easier to deal with than one game wrong, which means game over for the ticket.

My stats for the year aren't great at all. But when I did re-start my sports betting adventure, I did promise transparency. So, here I am with a record not to be proud on.
Since the start of the year I did play 20 tickets and only won, euhm, .... 1! |What makes it even worse is that 14 of those loosing tickets were lost due to one incorrect bet. Some of these were terrible losses. Take for instance the home dog ticket of yesterday. Club Brugge was really dominant in their game. Anderlecht did had a shot fired on target for 80 minutes. And still didn't had a shot on target after 90 minutes. Still the game did end in a 1-1 draw. An own goal after 2, yes 2, defections! So, no funny times. But what is good, is that I don't loose my good mood. It is what it is. And even better is that I am not creating extra combos, to cover that misfortune or the losses. Really happy with that. Even in bad times, lessons can be learned and there are sign of getting a mature punter.

Also I do like the fact that I do restrict myself to 3 tickets per day: home dogs, stealers and over. Also I don't feel the urge to add more and more games to a ticket. Mostly it is 3 per ticket in rare occasions 4. I do know that lady luck will return to my side. And probably a dozen of tickets were won in injury time or by a lucky goal. Only when these events do result into winners, those are quickly forgotten and categorized as being a smart bettor :)

The bankroll graph looks like a great mountain to ski on!

Like I wrote, no need to panic and just continue with the plan as intended. As long as I do have fun with it, I am okay. Even with a small loss!

All bets are placed using this bookie!

Disclaimer

It is always a good idea to do your own research and to carefully consider the risks and potential returns before placing any bets. I am not a professional punter, for me it is just a hobby. I do place most of my bets in advance and do keep records of all my bets, but it is not encouraged to follow my bets blindly!

Cheers, Peter
