It's fascinating to learn that microblogging is already a thing on this platform. Many users are discussing it and seem to be in favor of implementing a microblogging feature that is integrated into the frontend. In fact, there is already DBuzz, a twitter-like dapp. The dapp has been around for months now. It has gone through a series of scrutiny until it finally came up and it has been operating for quite some time now.

The interface of DBuzz looks really familiar; the look feels like Twitter. It's much simpler than the condenser type of frontend. Personally, I feel comfortable navigating the app. It's also convenient to use, especially when engaging with other users.

In my view, this is the kind of product that we have to present to the masses. A way to connect with other users without the pressure of adhering to the customary long-form content. It's not to say that I don't favor long-form content; I like reading them, and that's the truth. Especially, if it contains substantial info on something that interests me. This is something that a microblog can't fulfill for obvious reasons.

In the case of DBuzz, there is a character count limitation for every post which is similar to Twitter. Actually, it's quite a challenge to condense the message of a post considering the limited characters for each post.

However that may be, I still think that it's a fun aspect of the social blockchain experience and a potential to earn crypto. The potential crypto reward is the mind-blowing feature of this experience. Which mainstream social media platform will pay you directly from your participation or use of their app? Instagram never paid me a dime for my many years of contributing or posting through their app. And the same goes for Twitter & Facebook. They effectively made me feel that it's a privilege for me to be using their platform for my social media activities.

It's now or never

Now is the best time to offer a microblogging feature to this platform. I really meant that. The latest rally has placed cryptocurrency & blockchain technology in the spotlight. It's in the news and many people are talking about it on mainstream social media.

There has to be a gateway where the onboarded masses will feel familiar. A direct association to the things they do outside of this platform.

Tell me if this story sounds familiar...

"I was an avid user of Facebook & Instagram until a friend of my sister recommended a website called Steemit. It was a Reddit style social media platform where I post anything about my life & hobbies. Wow! I'm getting paid for sharing about the things that I enjoy. After 3 years, a non-believer like me is now participating in a total of 7 crypto projects. Awesome!

That could be anyone's or everyone's story.
