The fight to win despite family discouragement for entrepreneurs.
It is very easy for us to live our lives based on the way other people will appreciate, as a result of the bad economic situation in my country, parents always want their children to finish with school and immediately get a good paying job which will also mean these kids can begin to help out with some financial responsibilities at home, if a child then decides to walk through a different pattern from the normal setting it becomes a very great problem.
For instance, in a lot of African homes, parents would not want to even listen to children who are trying to become entrepreneurs at all, they simply want these kids to get a means of financial sustainability that is not as demanding or sacrificial like the chosen entrepreneurial path.
I like to say that not everyone can become an entrepreneur, a lot of people are very comfortable with working from morning until night and there is no bad omen associated with that because it is not everyone that has the tendency to take risk like entrepreneurs but if you have the desire to become an entrepreneur then nothing like family pressure should be able to stop you from following your entrepreneurial desire.
From the beginning of their young entrepreneurial journey, some families already write off the effort of these vibrant entrepreneurs even from the beginning of their entrepreneurial journey and make them feel as if nothing will bring about success in the journey of their career which is highly disturbing. The truth about a chosen entrepreneurial journey is the fact that it is never going to come easy.
However, if an intending entrepreneur decides to venture on the path he loves without listening to the murmuring of family members, then he needs to be ready for daily self-motivation. The need for self-motivation is because the entrepreneurial road is never going to be rosy, it will rather be filled with reasons to make you turn back on your dreams.
The decision to become an entrepreneur despite the odd means you need to be strong enough to face anything that comes your way, get ready to be slapped, insulted and looked down upon on several occasions. It will surely not be an easy ride but you just have to make up your mind to win, the strive to win is definitely a matter of the mind and entrepreneurs have to understand this fact and stick to it as long as they can.
