There is no guaranteed victory for a safe player
Millions of people all over the world desire success and they will usually dream and pray every day that a miracle would make them achieve the success that they eventually want but usually, there is more to success than the dreams that we have or imagine.
Life in itself is a complete risk and we might never be able to get pass the current stage that we are in if all we think about is playing it safe. Those who make it far in life are surely risk takers and risk takers get through very rough patches to achieve whatsoever they want from life. Life is not a smooth playground for everyone who wants to always play it safe, imagine players on a football field and there is a team who only wants to play it safe and nothing more, such a team will find it extremely difficult to score, the only thing they will do will be to protect themselves from losing and they may never score.
Most often, we have to take risk if we are going to make a meaningful difference, investment risks and other risks that will contribute to growth. I heard a story of a goldsmith villager whose intention was to play it safe through life, he hated to lose and he was determined that all through his life he was never going to lose, he was actually a really hardworking man who gave all he had to his work.
He would work hard to make his daily living and after feeding he will store up the left over in an hidden part of his work shop, because he did not want to get duped according to the excuse he gave, he never bought a piece of land or did anything differently from the usual. There was a time his best friend purchased a piece of land and advised him to do the same but he insisted that he never wanted anything to take away money from him, he wanted to play it safe in life.
After ten years, he remained at the comfortable position of owning a goldsmith shop with very old work implements, the only thing he did was work, eat and sleep. He was surprised to see his friend visit him one day with a very neat and nice car and some success story of how well he had rebranded his business, the land he bought ten years ago and other little investments he had made over the years gave him some very mouth-watering returns that served as an improvement to his life.
He went back to his safe hidden spot where he had been hiding money for years and found out that the money had completely faded away, no financial organization was willing to accept such money and he had no other option than to discard it. There is no winning in the game of a person whose only intention is to play it safe all the time, without a risk or price to pay, there is most often not a reward to be acquired.
