Calm After the Storm * Hive Goals, Week 20, 2022
I don't know if we can say crypto markets were truly calm, but this is how I perceived this week after the tsunami Terra provoked.
I focused much more on Splinterlands than my posts might've led to believe, given the approaching switch from the current ranked rewards system to the new one, at the beginning of the new season. Not necessarily on playing the game, but more on thinking about how to proceed going forward. But on that in a separate post next week.
HIVE Power and HBD Goals
After some significant purchases the week before for both HIVE and HBD, this week was... calm. No more big purchases, for now.
This week I started adding some funds to pHBD-USDC on Polygon from staking and LP rewards on Cosmos. Next week the bonding for the UST-related LPs comes to an end and I'll move those funds to pHBD-USDC as well, plus what piled up from rewards in the meantime.
I won't track this pool for my HBD goal directly, but some or all of those funds will end up in HBD savings towards the end of the year to help with the HBD goal, if needed.
Here's the situation at the end of this week:
Splintershards (SPS) Staked Goal
Only 1000 SPS staked this week but slowly progressing toward the 100k objective.
I will probably end up needing to buy some SPS from the market if I continue in this rhythm.
Maxing Chaos Legion Set

Still don't have maxed Tarsa, but I took a break from trying to get it or any other rare or common CL cards, as they are pumped because of the demand from accounts that previously used ghost cards.

Since I didn't buy Tarsa or any other common or rare cards, I focused on epic and legendary cards this week.
I maxed 2 epics, Dax Paragon and Weirding Warrior.
Actually, I haven't maxed them yet, but I have the BCXs to do it and waiting for the ones I had rented out to combine the cards.
I don't use either of these cards too often, but I think they can be quite powerful in certain games. And they are both 2 mana.

The other card I maxed this week is Carnage Titan, one of the airdropped cards, which can be very powerful as a second tank in high mana battles.

Social Targets
I started the week with 7803 comments and 8045 replies.
And now I am at 7951 comments and 8196 replies. They are both above my targets of 81 comments and 76 replies weekly to reach 10k of each by the year's end, which is good!
