This is a short sum-up table with the state of my goals in easier TLDR form. The table has only some information, so if you want details, they can be found in the post.

Current State/Other Selection CriterionGoals Matching the Criterion
Ongoing5 (HP + HBD Savings, LEO Staked, Comments Made, DEC Saved, Maxed Cards for Staking on Land)
Completedgoals: 0, main goals: 0
Main goals3 (HP + HBD Savings, LEO Staked, Comments Made)
Goals2 (DEC Saved, Maxed Cards for Staking on Land)
New Goals1 (Maxed Cards for Staking on Land)
Increased goals2 (HBD target for HP+HBD Main Goal - twice, DEC Saved)
Decreased goals0

I include a link to the initial goal-setting post for 2023, for reference, if needed.

As I mentioned in my weekly roundup, today, three years ago, on 20 March 2020 (the date is so easy to remember!), Hive was born, forked from the legacy chain, which was unscrupulously taken over, and is now mostly a dead/ghost chain.

The birth of Hive deserves to be remembered and celebrated because it will become a case study for the economies and societies of the future: how to make a takeover irrelevant.

On this occasion, I decided to make a symbolic powerup of 100 HIVE to show my continuous support for the Hive blockchain and ecosystem. This will obviously be backed by my regular monthly powerup which will be more sizeable.

Many things happened this week that have an influence on my Hive goals, but instead of talking about them in this introduction, I believe the best way to do it is in each section.

Let's see what changed since last week regarding my Hive goals.

HIVE Power (HP) + HBD in Savings Main Goal

If last week I purchased more HIVE, this week (yesterday and today) I've done the reverse. I exchanged some HIVE into HBD. Maybe it will continue skyrocketing, maybe not, but I thought it was prudent to take out some profit since I had (and still have) lots of liquid HIVE, and I would buy it back if it goes below 40 cents again. If not, that's ok, that's what taking profit is for.

My staked HP reached 27301 HP this week, after powering up 100 HIVE. I also have 1100 HBD in savings, 100 more than last week, after moving part of the HBD I swapped from HIVE to savings.

I think I'll be waiting patiently for HPUD from now on, unless something wild happens in the market.

Here's what the evolution of the HP+HBD goal looks like:

I'll need to have one of the targets (HBD or HIVE) reached to consider this goal completed.

If a target becomes too easy, I may increase the target, but not forever. Just like the market can play against your targets, they can play in their favor too.

LEO Staked Main Goal

I was one of the lucky winners of this LPUD's delegations and now I have 6k LEO delegated to me. I already curate mostly Leofinance content, so that means I put that LEO stake to work. But since I received the delegation I tried to go to Leofinance Alpha when I could and upvote some threads, to return even more to the Leofinance community. I have all my tokens on one account, which means my curation brings a host of other reward tokens plus HP.

413 LEO staked during the last week, including 287 during LPUD.

516 LEO left to stake in March to meet the 1000 LEO power-up guideline, in about 12 days from now. The delegation might help increase curation rewards for the remaining time, so even if I don't reach the guideline, it could be a close one.

Splinterlands Land Expansion Main Focus

Land expansion's main focus extends throughout 2023. Unless I change the strategy, it will be the only main focus / main goal for Splinterlands in 2023. But there will be several 1-3 months goals.

The whitepaper for land expansion 1.5 was released publicly on Friday and it contains relevant information that makes me adjust some short-term and even medium-term approaches to my goals and the targets themselves. More details below.

First Land-Related Goal: DEC/DEC-B Saved

While my initial intention was to buy only the "Building in a Box" starter package for my plots, details from the whitepaper about the contents of the packages made me change my mind and also go after the "Time Vault" packages on a good part of my plots. Time Vault also has the advantage of not being bound to the plot and the time crystal and grain tokens can be sold afterward, and they are purchased at a serious discount with the starter package.

That's why I'm increasing the goal for saving DEC-B for this phase, pre-surveying.

Deadline: When DEC-B offer runs out, either because all were sold or because the time limit was reached (April 9th).

Target to consider the goal completed: 1.5 mil. DEC-B saved.

Current status: 978k DEC-B (+17k DEC-B)

Note: Only +17k DEC-B because I needed to buy VOUCHERs for the new promo card.

This goal will end soon, but after that, another goal of the same nature will begin.

New Land-Related Goal: Maxed Cards for Staking on Land

This goal is on hold until after I survey my land. The whitepaper revealed a potential 50% performance reduction for staked cards based on their splinter association with the type of terrain. Without knowing what type of terrain I'll have, especially on the most valuable plots, I'd buy cards blindly. I'll most likely have to sell some cards afterwards and buy other cards, but I probably won't buy any more cards at this time.

The purpose of this goal is to build the amount of maxed-level cards I need for staking on my tract.

We will need to fill 5 slots per plot with staked cards, without requiring summoners (that doesn't mean they can't be used as regular cards).

So, what are the details of it?

Deadline: June 2023, probably.

The number of maxed-level cards needed for staking on land: 500 (5 x 100).

Current situation: 111 / 500 (+4, of which 2 GFL) (22.2%)

Time remaining: ~12 weeks

I could probably add some more maxed-level cards from my playing deck if I'll need to (some are probably underutilized in my playing deck).

Comments Made

I started this week with a total of 12980 comments made.

Ended the week with 13055 comments made, which brings the number of my comments this week to 75. I discovered that I comment less when I have a busy week, which makes sense.

I now need an average of 120 to reach the goal of 18k.

Weekly Task - Buy INDEX

Decided to add some more INDEX to my stash this week. More like a decision of the moment than a limit order that got executed, because I purchased at the market price.
