Yesterday I dove into a bit of a rant regarding the slow transition from scarcity-based mindset to one based on abundance, including in places like our crypto-verse.

To my surprise, I woke up this morning to an announcement from the Telos Network which has been set as the main post on Leofinance at the time of writing.

The announcement speaks of developments into the defi field by the Telos chain and how the news has been picked up by Yahoo Finance.

I'm not going to talk about the Telos chain, because at this point I know very little, but in the context of my rant yesterday this seems like a good step forward. Making the step to post their announcement on Leofinance, as well as probably in other places.

As they said in the comments section, "With this, we build bridges and not walls". Pretty much what I see crypto needs more to rise up to the next level quicker.

And what the likes of Splinterlands and Leofinance have been doing, and that's a big reason for their success.

Something @taskmaster4450 remarked a few times and was quite pissed off about it. Why do "crypto people" (and that includes various projects) use centralized social media instead of the the decentralized ones that are available? They can even use both.

But using centralized social media exclusively, while being connected in any way to a world that is decentralizing, it's plain stupid.

Maybe Telos gets it. We'll have to live and see. They certainly seemed impressed by the warm welcome.

It's a start. A long way to go to change the minds of the other hundreds or thousands crypto projects out there. Not to mention the tens of million of people already involved at some level in crypto.

Hive will certainly become more interesting than just for its blogging component. It already has a gaming facet.

DeFi is a buzz word, maybe even more than NFTs, or maybe just as much. And Hive ecosystem has both, to a degree. And they are continuously improving.

But for some projects, Hive's blogging component, along with its communities, are pure gold. They just have to understand that.
