This is the weekly update on the progress of SplinterGlossary.

What Is SplinterGlossary?

SplinterGlossary is that section of LeoGlossary that defines a glossary of inter-linked terms and definitions for Splinterlands. LeoGlossary is focused on financial, general crypto, but also including Hive and Leofinance terms and definitions, banking terms, insurance terms, and a series of specific lists.

Numbers of the Week

This week I added 1 new term, but I mostly started to define the terms from the glossary that were added recently and didn't have posts yet, so we are now at 324 terms and 12 lists.

Some Details

I started the week defining the two new rulesets introduced by Splinterlands:

While this may not be a big deal, I haven't seen these two new rulesets added at the time I checked anywhere else where I looked (other resource or interface) besides the release notes and the game when you have this ruleset for a battle (but you can't see a list of rulesets in the game, as far as I know).

Besides that, my focus was on land this week.

I updated the definition for land deeds and added a new term and definition for Land Plot Revealing, to reflect the initial iterations of the land rollout, separated for claiming deeds and revealing.

I also defined land resources, as a whole, and within I added the definitions to the 6 magical resources and linked them in the glossary as well.

I don't think I should define natural resources (grain, wood, stone, and ore) for now, because more information would be useful before I do that, like the types of terrain where each of them can be produced or have the best productivity on.

At first sight, I could just say grain production is best on plains, wood in forests, and ore and stone in mountains. What about the other 11 types of terrain? What natural resource is best suited for them?

Plans for Next Week

While I might take it slow until next year, land will still be a focus.

Final Words

Remember that the success or not of this project depends a lot on the contribution of others. When you use terms defined in SplinterGlossary in your Splinterlands/gaming posts, it would be great if you'd link them to those definition posts.

Also, if you notice something wrong with any defined terms, please let me know in these weekly updates.
