This is the weekly update on the progress of SplinterGlossary.

What Is SplinterGlossary?

SplinterGlossary is that section of LeoGlossary that defines a glossary of inter-linked terms and definitions for Splinterlands. LeoGlossary is focused on financial, general crypto, but also including Hive and Leofinance terms and definitions, banking terms, insurance terms, and a series of specific lists.

Numbers of the Week

This week I added 3 new terms to the glossary, one of which is already defined, and we are now at 319 terms and 11 lists, almost all defined.

Some Details

This week, updates from Splinterlands influenced a big part of my work for SplinterGlossary.

First of all, starting on Monday (November 14th), SPS rewards are added to Brawls. They were implemented following an overwhelming approval vote on the proposal referring to this matter.

I needed to add a definition referring to the new SPS rewards for Brawls and update a few other definitions to reflect that.

Besides that, Splinterlands made me a surprise and changed the names of the 3 new rulesets they introduced and which I had already added with the first names. And now we have two sets of definitions for them.

Initial definitions:

And the new definitions (which are identical, except for their names and links):

Evidently, the new definitions are linked in the glossary and the rulesets list. I had to create new definitions instead of updating the old definitions to update the link too because the link of posts cannot be edited on Hive.

By the way, for search engines, the second set of names is better, because they are more unique and harder to get lost in a multitude of other similar results.

I also added the definition for backline (position), to match the other definition we had for frontline or tank.

The rest of the week I kept adding links to older definitions, now being at letter G.

Plans for Next Week

I'll keep adding a new definition here and there either when Splinterlands updates something or when I see something that isn't covered in the SplinterGlossary.

I'll continue to add links to older definitions (and update them where needed). I progressed slower this week on this task because almost all definitions needed editing (whether to add links or for another reason). That's something I don't know before checking every definition.

Final Words

Remember that the success or not of this project depends a lot on the contribution of others. When you use terms defined in SplinterGlossary in your Splinterlands/gaming posts, it would be great if you'd link them to those definition posts.

Also, if you notice something wrong with any of the defined terms, please let me know in these weekly updates.
