I've been holding some hive for a while; The intention was to sell it for Bitcoin when the price went up. That thought was conceived a few months ago and since then Bitcoin went up and Hive went down. I blame @meesterboom because, by his own admission, the hive price dives soon after he makes a purchase, which he did not so long ago. Thanks Boomy.

Hold, sell or power up deliberations

  • Hold - Boring! There's little fun in doing that.
  • Sell - I'm not completely mental, so nah.
  • Power up - I just said I'm not completely mental but...Power up?!

Over the last three and a half years I've found a lot of enjoyment from writing and engaging on the blockchain; It's been a comfortable place to share a few things about me: Hobbies, professional life, travels, thoughts and opinions, fiction, some (probably quite bad) poetry and a lot of historical content about things that fascinate me. I've also met and engaged with some really great people who I value greatly.

I powered up 13,100 hive - The decision was easy

So...My decision to power up 13,100 hive was easy.

You see, the reward I get here on the blockchain runs a little deeper than a few cents or dollars earned - It's the reward I gain from the interactions with people; Learning from them, new ideas and concepts, discovering about where they live and what they do, seeing new places through other people's eyes and, of course, the conversations we share. Some are deep, some hilariously funny and others are just people talking to people; Enjoyable though, all of them.

Throughout the time I have been here I have engaged a great deal with others and supported many and there's the reason I powered up!

I enjoy helping others; It's sort of like me giving back to the blockchain that has given me so much as mentioned above. This is why I vote many of the comments people leave me on my posts and curate for @curangel spreading some additional reward to those who deserve it. I've never been one to reward people for no effort though, however when it's there I'm happy to do so.

I've now got around 90,000HP or so, with the extra power up, and it gives me the chance to reward users just a little better which, I will be doing - Business as usual.

I know this isn't a straight up finance-related post but considering what I've seen other people post here on LeoFinance I figured it was close enough - It's crypto-related at least, and real. Sorry if it's the wrong place for this post.

So, tell me...If you had 13,100 Hive right this minute would you power it up and why? Would you sell it off for fiat to take out into the real world or would you sit on it and do nothing? * Design and create your ideal life, don't live it by default - Tomorrow isn't promised.
