I came to an understanding that in so many Underdeveloped and developing countries, leadership isn't synonymous to politics as when power hasn't been wielded, sanity often remain but when they get this absolute power, they tend to forget they have followers they have to lead, they start to see Chess Pawns and money making offices.

Politics has been seen as a position to steal and get wealthy in third world and developing countries not because the system is corrupt but because the people in it are. When the people in a system are bad, no matter ho good the system may look, it will only produce bad result. I will be looking at a few reasons why corruption won't die easily in these countries and why these countries will keep suffering.

Taking a look at counties like Lebanon, Venezuela, Somalia, Somalia, Nigeria and so on, the major reason for their lack of growth is corruption. Corruption started one day out of greed and this greed grew into holding power for as long as possible. Because democracy will not allow for a person to seat in power for a very long time, they start to put in their offspring, family members, loyalist and friends whom they know will remain loyal to the course of stealing from public funds but since democracy is king, they have to find a way to make their plans work.

The politician needs to get his loyalist in power in the next election so the corrupt practices will continue at the expense of the economic stand and at the expense of the peoples' standard of living, so the "let them smile a little" trick is played. The aim is to make the people a little happy while making themselves as a politician happier and the people demand good roads, electricity, education, water and other basic amenities nut not including food so the first thing is get a corrupt friend with a construction company and award a contract on paper in Billions of the currency to construct/repair a road.

The contract is signed and the money in reality is shared among the parties involved that got helped the individual win the project while the rest goes to the person who won the project. The person is advised not to do a good job so he can be called upon before the next election to do the road again and get his share of the national cake. The contractor goes and do inferior jobs with half the money given to him and the people are happy that their government remembered them. Other projects will also continue making money for both the people in power and the contractors.

The election is getting closer, and the people have been ripped on all levels including not providing job opportunity for them so they are hungry. At this point, the next step is to make them sell their vote. First you need to mane them loyal to the party where the flag bearer for the election is going to be produced so they do not contest whatever candidate is given to them, then you make them work to make the election possible. After this, it becomes a case of sell your vote for money else we will steal the vote by force. After this, a new person gets in power and the circle begins again with the corrupt politicians making policies and amending constitutions just to favor their selfish and greedy acts.

Will Corruption Ever End in This Countries?
