How to Sell Hive to Potential Audience

In my previous post, I was asked in the comment section to explain how I will be able to sell hive to people. While I already explained in the comment, I will be going more into selling or closure are some of you would know it.

Selling the Concept of Hive

There are two types of leads when selling, there are the cold and the warm leads. The cold lead clients are the people who would readily jump into purchasing your product, which in this case is Hive. They have been looking for a solution to their problems but do not know the solution exists. For hive, this people love creating contents, they have enough time, do not have more than one source of income and have been looking for a way to create contents so they can be rewarded for the contents they create but do not know that a platform like Hive exists.

The warm lead customers would be willing to buy your product but they are worried about some things surrounding your products. A very good example of warm lead customers in the case of Hive are people who are willing to invest in the Hive but are skeptical about the Blockchain, they are worried if their money is safe, they do not want to be misled into putting their money where their mouth isn’t. With Warm lead customers, it is your job to make them believe you, believe your products and want to invest/buy it.

First remember that people do not want to be sold to, they want to buy with their emotions (emotion rules everything) but justify that their purchase was rational. Do not think that people are only interested in features. Telling a person with money that Hive will make them more money when they stake, when they vote on other people’s post in curation reward, wouldn’t be a buying point for someone who has other places to invest in. If you want them to invest, talk about the happiness they, as senders and their recipient gets when they want to Send HBD to one another for transaction purposes as a result of speed delivery which is less than 2 seconds. Talk about how they will be doing a better good while discovering and rewarding great talent. Appeal to their emotion, remember that the goal is to make them associate Hive with their lifestyle, their daily activity, their business, investment, and goal.

Make people understand the problems Hive is solving. Make the problems big and make it relatable to them, since not everyone have the same problem. Make sure you ask questions to know their problem. Also, remember to make them understand what you are selling. Give a good explanation of what Hive is, make sure that you do not make Hive very complex. Make sure you need to make them understand Hive like a Dummy and not a pro, and make sure while explaining, ensure that it is cutting through the problem it can solve. Also, ensure to make them confident in their choice to purchase your sale. Make sure you build their confidence in Hive, and the Blockchain.
