It is no news that on January 6th 2021, President Donald Trumps personal social media accounts got suspended, from Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, Shopify and PayPal, over the fact that he was encouraging violence which violated the rules.

President Trump kept emphasizing that the election was a fraud and it started to become a very big news spreading through the media. After the Capitol riot, Trump a president of a country became an object of national security.

It is no news that Trump has been using his personal account to write several speech that were against social media like Twitter's terms of service when he was inaugurated as President, during his tenure as president and when he lost the election for his second term. I then wonder, why was Trump personal account not closed when he was on seat actively as the president of the United States when he made those speeches which violated the terms of service, was it because he was the president of the United State and these companies could face severe sanctions over antitrust, new tax reforms could be made which would not be favorable to social media companies, and other types of sanction?

What limit do a person get to before their accounts get banned by social media, do presidents of countries especially the United States get preferential treatment, and was Trump account banned because he was almost powerless. I could say Trumps account banning was possible because he had been facing possible impeachment from the house.

Do you feel that Trumps account banning would not have been possible if he was still in office actively as the president and not an outgoing president?
