Well all the drama these last couple of days has been centered on the soft fork made to stop Justin Sun from changing the top witnesses. I am betting that on March 6th they will reach an amicable agreement and Justin will get what he wants. The fact that an ugly precedent has been made will be the one thing that will remain from this, I hope the Steem blockchain can overcome this.

So what else is new? Well I don't know but I do have some questions, for example do communities have a negative impact on Steem-engine tribes? I think it ought to have as they are nearly the same thing, this is bad for me because even though I have a small portfolio I am quite proud of it and now I think it will go to the dogs. Also I really don't like the new Steemit interface, I just can't get used to it.

I have seen several other things happening something with Steemhunt, several users quitting their witnesses, big guys too, dont really know what happened there. Then we have the usual complaints about downvotes, bid bot voting , better said business as usual.

But frankly all of this pales besides the Justin Sun takeover. We just don't know what he really plans and he already has plans he is a businessman he doesn't just throw away money his intentions are unknown but they are there. I just hope they are good for me, I really would like to see my Steemit account value go sky high. I do have some liquid Steem just waiting to sell if the price is right I have a debt I have to pay off, and Steem is my best bet right now.

And unfortunately it seems this soft fork has had the effect of making Steem's price bottom out, this really is sad all of us were kind of gung-ho because we thought the price would take off now. Now we have to wait until March to see this, but I do think that freezing Sun's stake will have a long term negative effect on the price.

Well I have nothing to do with that so I really am not going to worry about it, I will just hope things improve around here and Steem will go back to being a place where some money can be made by most people not just the usual circle jerk and ninja miners I guess.
