Sun and Steemit

I was away for just nine days without having any news about Steemit and now that I am back it happens that Steemit has a new owner. Funny thing is I am seeing a lot of people posting things that look like panic attacks, and I mean big people, the kind of people that have always known what is good for Steem and Steemit and have these where they are, basically in a hole, even though I must agree things are looking better right now probably because of the Justin deal.

Will this be worse than anything we have had up to now? I don't think so. One of the most used rationalizations is that Steemit will no longer be decentralized, but was it ever decentralized? To me, it seems it was always just going where a few group of people wanted it to go, so nothing changes there except now the bullies will also be bullied by an even bigger guy I guess.

So I really don't know what Justin paid or even if he has paid, I don't go to these events I use that time to walk, but I heard he bought 75 million Steem, damn do you know where a 100% downvote from his account would send you? I'm guessing below -100. So it would be better not to piss him off.

But actually I don't think this guy will be doing that sort of crap, he will probably do some mergers, there will be changes and we will see a very different Steemit, who knows if it will be better or worse, but he won't put money in a venture where he doesn't think he will make a profit. So as always I will just stay back and hope things get better. I am still hoping on that $10.00 Steem to get out of the hole I am in, maybe Justin Sun will get Steem there and then he will be my hero.

By the way who sold him these 75m Steem? Is there some magic place where they hold this kind of Steem?
