Amazon Career Day - September 16, 2020 12PM EDT

This pandemic caused financial difficulties to many businesses and people globally. Many business are still struggling, millions are still unemployed. But some companies did really well during this crisis. One of them is Amazon.

Amazon is hosting an online interactive Career Day event tomorrow at 12PM EDT. It is suppose to be a 3 hour event where everybody is welcome to participate. They are planning to fill about 33000 positions at all levels. Starting with warehouse worker positions that pay $16.50 + benefits to corporate and tech jobs that pay average of $150000 a year. As they state in their announcement the event is for all job seekers.

This live, interactive experience is for all job seekers, regardless of your level of experience, professional field, or background – and whether you’re interested in working at Amazon or elsewhere.

There is no need to register, but it seems those who are interested in career coaching are encouraged to pre-register. Amazon's recruiters will also be conducting about 20000 free virtual career coaching sessions. Participants can also join breakout sessions based on their interest: software development role, warehouse job roles, etc.

For those who are interested in software development jobs, Amazon's engineers will walk through interview and coding questions.
